Waited forty minutes for a bus, then found out that I need a green sticker on my student ID or I need to pay full price. Okay, fair enough, I'll just pay full price. Then it turns out that also no buses take eftpos. Or accept go cards. In 2016. Driver suggested I find an atm and wait another hour for the next bus. On the one hand, maybe I should have checked that the buses were up to date before leaving. On the other hand it's eftpos, and it's 2016. I'm not going check that each petrol station has eftpos before I fill up because a servo without eftpos would be crazy these days, so why does the local bus company have no plans to install eftpos machines?
