Food is reasonable priced and quite good. We went on Thursday and it was quite busy, had to wait 20min for dumplings. Overall, nice vibe and definitely worth the visit. It may not be the most accessible place for wheelchair users…

Great decor and atmosphere. The food selection seems authentic to a night market in China. Parking may be hard to find during peak hours so I recommend parking elsewhere and walking.

I had the chance to visit Burwood, Sydney during the Lunar New Year 2026. The atmosphere was so vibrant with plenty of great eateries, especially the Macau restaurant. I also caught the laser show in front of Chinatown at 8:30 PM

Burwood Chinatown Night Market is a fun place to get food together with friends or family. There's lots to see and eat!nnThe vendors and carts are there from Thursday to Sunday between 5PM to 10PM. The standalone businesses are usually open at their own business hours. The plaza also has more businesses and eateries.nnIt's really vibrant and stimulating.nnCredit card is accepted at a lot of places but with surcharges. Weekend surcharges apply too.

My friend and I visited Burwood Chinatown around 4pm. Unfortunately, only few establishments were open and few people eating. We ate kwafood skewers, milk flower for our drinks and takoyaki.
