An 8am start at the Optus Stadium was a great parkrun. The course is pretty - beside the stadium, along the river, through the bush & under the bridge.nnThe Run Director was great - casual, friendly, involved & interested in the participants incl visitors.nnTrack is a bit complex but well explained & on course Marshall's help. Seemed plenty of parking but we walked from casino- 1km walk.
This is a ripper of a parkrun. Terrific course next to the Optus stadium involving waterside paths, wooden boardwalks, metal arbors, classic Perth landscaping and weird but wonderful bridges. Give it a go.
Lovely place and the tour of the Optus stadium was very good
Complex course with several turns and repeats, but great area and plenty of space. Generally shaddy in most parts. Plenty of parking next to the pub or in the bus bays open for car if not game day at stadium. Treat yourself afterwards in the modern cafe in the stadium overlooking the course you just ran!
Lovely community in here. Definitely will run in here again
