DONT SEND YOUR KID HERE. As a former student from 2015 to 2017, I would highly recommended sending your kid somewhere else. Not even mentioning how male teachers can be creepy towards underage female students, my head of year begged me to drop out of school for 3 years until I couldn’t keep up in my grades any longer and dropped out in year 12!! So close! All I needed was a spare so I could use the internet to catch up in my assignments, I had no wifi or internet at home and they simply refused to give me one, instead it was easier for them if I just left.. they don’t care about your children at all, they only care about their pockets and the power trip they get bossing lil humans around.
DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE! My brother got burned by a kid bullying him then the school interrogated him then threatened him with getting kicked out all because he was too scared to tell on the kid. This is a hostile school which will use scare tactics on your kids.

Great school focused on providing our children with disciplined guidance. Very grateful for quality education from caring staff!
Burnside is a great school. They really care for their students and have some wonderful programs. Unfortunately some of the staff are a little short sighted though. Today I approached the bus driver at Nambour tennis courts, delivering several tennis balls into his lap and politely suggested that at the end of a tennis session maybe a student or two could collect the balls which have gone into the neighbouring property. It would be a good exercise for the students, teaching them to be responsible citizens and that our actions have consequences.
Honestly, go some where else. They trick you into going there by teacher support. IT department is strict, half the teachers just use 5 year old word documents. The kids there are literal crazy too.
Watched an all out war between these students and those from NSC over a pack of durreys. They rolled up in trolleys from coles and woolies wielding road signs, nearly got my head taken off by one of em!
Horrible school do not recommend you send your child there. Nambour State College is a much better school.
The canteen has single handedly made 3 people I know broke, other than that good school
