Prices are ridiculously high. How can these people charge three times the price. Just moved into the area so I thought I would do the right thing and support local business, Im disappointed .Worse still generic brand should cost less only to be charged 200% more! Revise your pricing please Gerald Burns Pharmacy way way too high. Chemist Warehouse you will save you so much money.
3x the chemist warehouse price for oral antibiotic prescription for my child with an ear infection. Shortage of this medication meant we had to purchase here but will definitely avoid in the future - prices are completely exorbitant, they really take advantage of people!
I would like to express my gratitude and thanks for the wonderful service offered to the retirement village Arcadia Waters. I was lucky enough to receive my COVID 4 injection on site. Which saved me from having to Sort this myself. The staff who visited should be commended for their efficiency and most of all their most friendly attitude. Lorraine Watson
Thank you to Amanda for the specialised 1 hour gut consult she provided. She has a wealth of knowledge and really takes the time to listen to you and explain everything clearly. I appreciated that she wasn't pushy when it came to selling products, you could tell she genuinely believed in what she was recommending and cares about her patients. I was also impressed with the general level of customer service in this pharmacy, we were approached for help as soon as we walked in and greeted with friendly smiles by all staff. I will be shopping here again in the future.
I have lived in Palmyra for 8 years now and each time I visit this pharmacy, I always experience the feeling of 'welcome'. The staff there are very friendly and efficient & the service is great. Even on busy days, they take the time to explain my medications to me, when I have something new. I have been to other pharmacies in the area and they are good, but Gerald Burns beats them hands down. Also in our time with Covid-19, they deliver scripts free, as I am house bound due to age and medical conditions.
Too expensive. E.g. I usually get 20 tablets of codeine for $12 at Freo Central Pharma, here it was $28. That's 233% more or $1.40 tablet... Mad. All their meds are far more expensive than discount pharma's. Not sustainable for chronic pain patients who can't work. Feel like I've been taken advantage of. The staff are usually nice, the pharmacists are knowledgeable but a bit too gruff/severe, could do with more warmth there.
Always helpful and caring. Love all the welcoming staff who are always please to see you. Also the chemist is more than that they offer natural health products to promote healthy guts .Which is now being recognised as a base cause for many aliments.
Initially I visited the pharmacy and was told by a helpful member of staff I had to wait for my ventolin as they were out of stock. I checked in daily for over a week to check to see if the stock had come in. Finally it did and I asked if one could be put aside. - one per person. When I went in to collect it I was told that my prescription had expired. Interesting, when I asked where on the prescription does it state an expiry date I was told it wasn't on the prescription and I should have looked on the website..... really?!!! when I asked why the date wasn't on the prescription I was told that there is not enough space to put an expiry date on, too much information....seriously?!! I was then told to go back to my doctor. Unbelievable!
So disappointing. Just got back from them empty handed- they wanted to charge me 4 times more no exageration! for my blood pressure pills than Chemist Warehouse. I understand that private pharmacies need to be more expensive than big chains and I am absolutely willing to accept that and still support local businesses but there is some limit to their greed...Not 4 times more expensive!
My housemate had horrible food poisoning, and I needed to get her anti-nausea tablets, almost needing to go to the hospital. I called to say I would be there one minute late from closing, but their response was "We have been here all day and want to be getting home". They couldn't stay open for extra one minute. I had to drive an extra 20 minutes to the next open pharmacy, while my housemate desperately needed these pills. Shocking service for a pharmacy. Lack of empathy, no kindness in their hearts. This is coming from someone who works in retail. It is not hard.
