After playing family beach volleyball that late afternoon, what better place than to stop at this place. We have 5 boys, including me and the different types of burgers spoke well with them. Anyway, loved it. Food: 5/5
I love burger fuel burgers, but the quality of fries and of a burger I got today were "not the best". Fries was overcooked, and the burger has not been salted/ bun was crashing/ the meat was not best. I reckon this particular branch to be checked on the quality of products.
Tried the new Hybrid burger and it was awesome……. A reasonably priced burger that actually looks the same as the advertising and super tasty as well with kiwi staples egg/pineapple and beetroot. This burger is a winner guy’s please make it permanent.! Shout out to the staff at the Mount, very courteous and pleasant to talk to…… well done.
We we disappointed in the quality of the food on this visit. We had 2 hybrid combos, both came with badly burnt kumera fries. The egg on one burger was burnt and the bacon on the other burger. We also ordered a gluten free burger which was fine apart from the bread was so stale that my partner rated it the worst burger she ever had. We frequent this store fairly regularly and have not experienced this before, so I called to see what they would say about the quality of the meal. Unfortunately I got a machine as they were too busy to take the call. Not Impressed all, there are plenty of other options for take out, I may not go back after this as there is nothing fun about having takeout at home and it being yuck!
Best Ford Freakout Burger ever! The kids cheese burger was a huge hit for our 4 year old grandie!! Full marks for food, service and atmosphere! Clean and tidy despite the wild weather!Food: 5/5
The inside of the SmashBrowns wasuncooked and outside wasn’t crispy. Burgers were dry, not enough sauce. Pretty average. Two burgers a coke and smash browns $37. Expected something great.
Ordered two kids meals and shakes, they forgot to give us the two kids drinks so had to go back and ask for them, received no sorry or anything. The shakes were extremly watered down versions as thin as a shake could be, easily the worst ive had from a Burger Fuel, when I told them they couldnt of cared less. Kids burgers were yuk my kids wouldnt touch them after a couple of bites and they normally luv them and eat them all. If your looking for a decent Burger Fuel then I suggest a slightly further drive to the much superior Papamoa Burger Fuel thats always above standard and never any issues.
Still the best burger in town. Though disappointed with the burnt kumara fries
Had the Kiwi Combo. Delicious food, great company n good fuel up for the Mount Half. Cool calm when under pressure. Keep up the fantastic work team !Food: 5/5
