Editing my review after some careful consideration. Dr Aung has very questionable ethics and should not be in the medical field period. His view on mental health is extremely outdated and he refuses to look further into any medical issues than surface level testing, then will advise that there can be further testing done however "you cannot afford it so it's not worth looking into". He has displayed extremely unprofessional behaviour by acting aggressive and swearing when trying to reason with him. I couldn't even find a legitimate contact point to make a complaint nor does it look like any action has been taken on past complaints. Avoid him at all costs. This medical centre is also holding my and others records hostage and refuse to transfer files, this practice is not bulk billing and anything needed outside of standard appointments, including long appts/mental healthcare PLANS ect is now charged at a ridiculous fee. Because of this place and Drs like Aung, I can no longer be alone in rooms with Drs and now need another person in the room so I do not get unfairly treated like I have multiple times in the past. The 1500s had better medical practice than whatever is going on here. Healthcare is a right. Not a privilege.
This place... Where do I start? Awful is somewhere to start. They lost my first booking. I rebooked. Under strict instruction from the hospital I attended. Staff told me to come in and I'll be looked after. Dr Thet Aung refused to even read a letter from the hospital I had with me. Refused to help even after I booked replacement cover for work. Wouldn't read the letter from my OT. The receptionist was the one who told me he could assist with what I needed. When I questioned her why I was told to come then refused treatment, she was defensive and petulant. Dismissive, rude, the place is disgusting. Unclean. Their pathology chair was sticky last time I went! Steer clear and leave these guys to stress over manipulating the downtrodden who they so obviously take advantage of. Should be shut down. He literally asked me to go back to the emergency ward... For not an emergency.. In writing it was the hospital asking me to see him to not to clog up emergency! [Edit] and now I find similar reviews of Dr Thet Aung.... Why act like some sort of tough guy as a Dr???. Far from tough... Pathetic. An unfortunate exercise of obfuscation and arrogance. A poster child for why people don't visit doctors when they need to
Friendly staff and nurses who have gone out of their way for us. Easy to book and great follow up. Doctors who are caring, knowledgable and give timely advice. Doctors our family have visited the most are Doctors Jane, Tommy and Thet. We actually moved away from the area but still keep coming back.
This is our local Dr surgery and it is amazing. Dr Thet Aung and Dr Jenny Pan are spectacular at diagnosing and patient service!
Dr. Chao was approachable, thorough and straightforward.The nurse & receptionist were lovely and helpful.
The most incompetent surgery I've ever come across. Feels more like a puppy mill factory. Fancy telling me I have Bone Marrow cancer and Renal failure off a blood test when I don't. And as for Jo the receptionist manager I can take my results to any doctor I feel like! Dr Aung and Jo are far more concerned about getting numbers through the surgery than anything else.
I loved Dr Ferg. Only Dr I ever felt comfortable with, unfortunately has moved to Townsville. Looking to come back to this practice as I've been here since a child and they have alot of my medical information. I don't understand how the reception has kept employment with the outstanding reviews about them, especially a racial issue. There is no tolerance in a medical practice for that, shame. I look forward to my appointment but I hope you either replace reception or have them complete some serious training.
Front desk lady is incompetent. I walked in and asked if I take a number and wait in the main area to see the pathology. She said yes. I waited half an hour and then asked how much longer the pathology would be. She said, did you go and knock on the door and wait in the other area. I said you told me to wait here. And she says "no I didn't". Complete waste of my time, annoying and incompetent.
Best medical clinic ever. Best doctors ever. I'm 70 years of age and I have seen a lot of doctors over the years. This clinic is exceptional. They save lives, they heal the sick. They have empathy and compassion. They engage their patients, you are not a number. They actually care. I Have been going here for 10 years...
I saw Dr. Qinghui Lin to check my blood test result including glucose. when I asked her about my sugar level, she was looking on her computer and said that my sugar level was fine. I asked her to print out the test result to see it. She gave it me saying" You have a good afternoon", so I left the surgery as obviously she didn't want to hear more questions. Outside I found out there was no result about my sugar level at all in the test result paper. I went back to her and asked about it. she looked at the paper and said again my sugar level was fine. I asked her " Where is my sugar level result in the paper?". There was No result about my glucose... Eventually, Dr. Lin said " They didn't do it. I apologize, OK?" IT WAS NOT OK... She gave me the paper which did not have any glucose level result, to check. IT IS NOT OK...How can I trust her? I am over 50 years old and have a family history of diabetes. It is main concern about checking my health. Can you trust her?
