Quick service and friendly staff, always ready to help locating items, large stock from home improvements garden tools & some plants... basically Bunningx is New Zealand hardware for "do it yourself" projects around the home and commercial tools and small to medium nuts bolts, washers znd too many more to list here. Saws, drills, gardening tools hammers, ladders, water hoses, you get the idea by now, No lumber or larger steels lengths. For example No steel reinforcing rods but has got wire tie tool and wires. Thank you to the lovely lady from Bunnings Tokoroa who actually went out of her way to order a couple of Borax containers for me as they did not have any instore at the time. I must say I was impressed and very happy to pick it up the very next day. Faster than online booking I must say.
Lewis at the Tokoroa Bunnings is a superstar, his service in helping order paint for my whare was excellent. I was so impressed that I bought paint for my shed as well. Thank you for an effortless experience. Satisfied customer here
Bunnings Tokoroa is a small store, so not as well equipped as the Rotorua or Taupo stores. Also when we were instore we asked for help on a specific item, but we were fobbed off. However, their timberyard is well stocked and the staff in that area are very helpful and knowledgeable.
Customer service was bad. Lady’s were too busy talking to each other to acknowledge us at the counter. Didn’t say hi or anything just looked us up and down scanned item and put it through and walked away. Bit disgusting honestly.
Only problem is that it is small so lack of quantity and variety of most stock.
