The store is only approx four years old and in a good location with lots of parking. A very large, well stocked branch with staff happy to advise on how the many products available can assist in any projects we might have in business or at home. The staff are always undergoing training to improve their knowledge and service expertise to the public.
Should really give less stars seeing a lot of my pay seems to go here. A good selection of products, including some that pop up from time to time, that really make the projects around the house fun and worthwhile. The staff have always been very helpful, including when we dropped in near closing time, they know what they're talking about and are happy to show you new items. Parking is great with a large car park servicing the store.
..you can you use their trailer to take home long heavy stuff... or too big or too long to fit into the back seat of your super market corolla...just have to pay a 100 bucks deposit...you get it back...once you returned it...it may take 4 days..to show up on your bank account...I just enjoy browsing there...when I got sick of watching football on tv...we already lost fifa anyway...
Most Bunnings' stores are quite standard, from stock to staff. Some are exceptional and some are... noted... Unfortunately, I witnessed the Bunnings greeter/adios person try to pat a puppy a child was holding child was sitting in the trolley, and when the puppy reacted by squealing and knashing its teeth didn't connect with the staff member's fingers, the Bunnings staff member cursed and mouthed off. I thought the puppy was super cute hence why I watched it all happen but why would you try and touch something that's not yours, without asking. This Bunnings staff member should have known better. And then to curse and mouth off whilst FACING a young child after doing something wrong - completely unacceptable.
Bunnings never changes, great variety of Christmas lights, but the Kmart of the hardwear world. Average quality items. Excellent nursery.
Previously I had written a bad review about this store until I visited again and was served by the most polite young man in the paint section his name was James and he exceeded every expectation. He was knowledgeable professional and deserves an huge pay rise. I then visited a week later and the gentleman who served me again in the paint section was an older man that looked like Santa Claus he was wearing a bright yellow skirt not sure why but he also was absolutely amazing he answered every single question he actually knew where to find on the Bunnings website I could see demonstrations of what I was doing and he honestly went above and beyond. This Bunnings store is by far now one of my favourites and I will only visit the store from now on because of the incredible customer service these two gentlemen provided.
New Bunnings, one of the biggest Bunnings stores I've ever been in. Seems to have an extended range compared your normal Bunnings stores. Very clean and shiney. Amazing wood / trade section. Huge outdoor plant section. The BBQ section feels like you've walked into grilling heaven. Staff are friendly, seem to have taken on a Master's vibe, thank you for the improvement in staff training and engagement.
You can normally get what you want at Bunnings but the service is questionable, have been there at time waiting to be served in the nursary with approx $400 worth of plants & 3 young ones completely ignored me while another young man at another checkout couldn't have been more helpful or charming. He was doing the work of both tills. Went there looking for hooks & a young lady called Paige helped me out instead of fobbing me off when they weren't were she thought she & I worked together to try & find something to suit. Had no luck but she was so helpful & thought about other alternatives, so a big Thank-You to young Paige the store needs more customer service people in it like Paige & the young man in the plant department.
This store has the most friendly staff I’ve ever come across & the store always seems to be clean
You can tell the managers don't really care about their customers or the company reputation, for that matter. One of only two nursery checkouts closed due to painting the checkout bay..at 11am. - with a conga-line of customers lined up behind the only functioning till? The store opens at 6.30am and closes at 9pm. Wouldn't you want to conduct maintenance when it's LESS busy, rather than more? Lousy managerial skills on display, right there.
