Why have self-service check outs if you're not going to open them!nLast three visits have been held up by cashiers having chats with each customer. Great customer service, but keep the self-serve open for those of us that want to get in and out.
I love Bunnings. It’s my happy place. And how lucky are we in Toowoomba that we have two?!nnUnfortunately, today was my second disappointing visit to Bunnings North Toowoomba.nMy first was a couple of months ago where the person on garden centre checkout insisted I pay for my mother’s shopping along with mine, despite my mother protesting and informing them the purchases were to remain separate. Regardless of it not being a hassle to also pay for my mother’s items, I was taken aback by this persons’ insistence. Too bad if I weren’t in a financial position to cover everything myself.nnMy second disappointment was today with the same person, same checkout, as well as the returns desk. I was unknowingly overcharged for my items 5 instead of 2. I didn’t realise until I was quickly double checking that my items lined up with the receipt because the price seemed off. I went to the returns counter to have it rectified. The person at the desk obviously didn’t want to be there it seemed incredibly busy, so I don’t blame them for that I suppose, however it was very uncomfortable overhearing, “how many did she actually leave with” in a less than positive tone. I hadn’t even left the store! I went directly from the garden centre checkout, to the person at the door, and then to the returns desk. Where would I stow 3 40L bags when I hadn’t even gone anywhere?nnCan’t fault the individual standing at the garden centre exit, they were very helpful when I asked where to go to fix the overcharge.nnBack to my usual haunt of Bunnings West, should have never gone elsewhere.
One of your males at the entrance to the nursery needs an education on manners towards customers. Especially customers who are handicapped.nI get that he was having a bad day. Not my problem. I have never had a problem with bunnings personal until today. Mitre 10 is across the road.nRant over.
Online Orders - I've ordered online for collection a couple of times and both times they have substituted items with unsuitable items without even asking and created a lot of inconvenience. Will certainly never use the online order system again. Too much hassle.
After going home without an item paid for although my fault for not making sure I had all items. I would like to say a big thanks to Jed who answered my call twice as cut off once going through to front section. He took my name was apologetic and got AJ to ring me. Thanks to AJ who rang me back straight away. Both of your service was amazing. Many thanks .
