Riley was on three trade desk this evening. He gave me accurate directions to the items I needed and on asking the third enquired what I was doing. He made a very useful alternative that I might consider. His manner was mild to ensure thst I was not offended I appreciated his awareness being a young man advising an elderly man with a handyman project to attack. I asked his name to thank him. He'll do well in whatever.nA regular visitor, Vaughan who among many of your excellent staff, enjoys Rob's jokes wherever he pops up and often on the entry.nRegarding the comments of dogs and their occasional mistakes. Dogs can be such an important companion for some people. They are accepted in almost every situation all over the world. Qantas is having pet companions in some aircraft. I wouldn't take my gorgeous dog to Bunnings but understand that some people NEED to and it's pretty easy to put up with. Go gently, go well. Enjoy it all.
Just went to this bunnings to look for something I wanted. Apparently they didn’t sold that in store which is no worries at all. What I wanted to highlight is the guy at the entry/exit, he is a gem. He was greeting everyone entering and exiting the door with best words possible. He was making sure everyone leaves with smile. Wonderful being…
As I was shopping yesterday I noticed several dogs around the store.Then one cocked its leg in front of me & wet the area which is not acceptable. Truly I'm sure dogs would rather be off leash in a park running around. I have seen other deposits from dogs in the past that staff have to clean up.Surely common sense shouldnchange this access.It would not be somewhere I would take my dog.
The 2 people that greeted me at the entrance and halfway through the store were angels and so helpful, telling me exactly where I needed to go. Once I got there, the light bulb and fan section, I found the bulbs but it was out of reach so I went to the nearby counter where there were 2 girls and a guy talking amongst each other and on their phones. I tried to get one’s attention and a brunette girl walked up and I explained the situation, not a word from her or a smile the entire interaction. As we were walking there, another blonde employee blocked the way, I apologised trying to get through and she said sorry but still didn’t move as I squeezed through I spotted the bulbs in another location I hadn’t seen and I turned around apologising and explaining I hadn’t seen them and the employee ‘helping’ me just turned around and walked off while I was apologising. Bruh. I’ve always known Bunnings to be the friendly, helpful place but this was just shocking. The entire interaction with all those employees was so rude. I work in customer service and I’ve never walked off while a customer was talking, neither have I never had an interaction without a smile and a conversation. I told the entrance guy about how they didn’t help me at all and walked off while I was talking to the girl and he apologised profusely which was nice. 1+ star for that but that was genuinely the rudest interaction I’ve ever had at any store.
A big thank you to Toby and the staff member who assisted me at Bunnings Kotara with breaking a lock so I could access my luggage. I appreciate your assistance. It saved me a locksmith fee.
