Beautiful station on the Brisbane river
The iconic Bulimba ferry at the end of Oxford Street, is a heritage listed building, which graciously made the Queensland Heritage Register on the 12th January 2003. The building was designed by GHM Addison and Son and built in 1922 by E Taylor for the Balmoral Shire Council. It's purpose to efficiently service ferry routes across the Brisbane River.
Good to see the ferries working again. Always a pleasant spot to watch the world go by. An easy stroll to Bulimba shops and cafes.
The best station on the Brisbane river
We live on the river and find it so convenient to travel by ferry. Terminal well designed and makes for a very comfortable "wait" !
Well maintained and on time
A great piece of Brisbane’s transport heritage, well maintained and busy with passengers
well located at the end of the famous oxford street. Parking is not a big option but still very conveniently located.
Great clean and modern terminal with plenty of seating.
