Very confused about the one star comments about the owner being rude. I have been many times and every single time he has been very kind and engaging. The food is good, simple, but good. Homestyle cooking. Good value for money, $12 gets you rice and two curries. Thank you for the lovely meal!
Excellent curries, and the price was good as well. I ordered Beef Vindaloo very spicy, Zucchini Curry, Lamb Curry and rice. All for 12 dollars. There was a large selection of ready cooked curries to pick from
Horrible tasting food, very low quality and those who have given 5 stars clearly you haven’t eaten good Indian food .

Not sure what the whole 1 star reviews are about, maybe they visited the place when owner was on his bad day, but I've been to his place for many many times for his legendary chicken biryani, owner is super friendly and very engaging. Be sure to try his chicken biryani, it is hands down, one of the best biryani you can find in Perth
Don't believe the biased 1 star reviews from people here, most aren't detailed enough in my opinion, nor do they share what they could have done that was rude to the owner and server himself, they all sound a bit entitled when it comes to the owner being "rude". Been coming here every week for a while now, food is amazing, tastes amazing and gives great service. I don't even eat curry that often nor ever at all but I have cravings the day before I ever think of coming here. I see him and his other workers talk to his regulars and new customers with a smile on their face. Very hospitable service in my opinion. I order the usual 2 curries and rice for $14. And haven't once been disappointed, Authentic homestyled cooking, will always come back here whenever at Coventry Village.
The foods are horrible. Disgusting taste. And the guy isn’t really friendly. Not recommend
owner is very rude and acts as if he is right all the time, food was average, but considering it's in the coventry village, there are many other wonderful places to eat from. if your under 20, the owner automatically hates you and claims your parents didn't raise you right.
Great food , never had a bad meal here.
