So good to find a clinic taking simple but effective measures to reduce airborne transmission of a virus you really don’t want to get.  Huge pros: HEPA air purifier in waiting room, mask-wearing by all, and Covid screening on entry.  Keep up the great work!

Recently been there to get a blood test for the first time in West Brunswick area on a Saturday morning. No greetings from the reception staff but a straight question weather I am wearing a surgical mask! That felt me very bad in the morning. She is the worst receptionist I have ever met in my life!!!

Been our family clinic for years but with Dr’s retiring and covid they have gone downhill. Rang to book my daughter in who had covid symptoms however as I’d explained we had all recovered two weeks prior. After being given an appointment I was made to call the clinic while sitting outside in my car who did most of the appointment on the phone. When we were finally allowed to go in the Dr checked my daughters ears and throat so fast and from a distance gave us a script and we were on our way. The experience was rude there was no empathy and not even so much a thought to check anything else. I’m now at home with a child who had a chest infection which would have been picked up if the Dr wasn’t afraid of coming close to my child and lifting her shirt. After 10 years it’s time I retired from this practice too

West Brunswick Clinic used to be a very good GP Clinic. It has unfortunately gone down hill over the Covid lockdowns. They would have to have one of the worst reception teams I have ever met, especially the blonde lady. I sat in a waiting room a few months ago for 20 minutes while the blonde lady was complaining and talking extremely rudely about another staff member who had left the clinic. So unprofessional and embarrassing to listen to as a patient. I felt like complaining but didn’t know who to complain to. From the minute you walk to the front door, you are required to talk through a security door bell… It’s like they think you are infected with the plague. Every other clinic in Melbourne has moved on from Covid, yet they still think it’s 2020… I work in a Covid ward at a major hospital and we have less precautions now then this clinic. The reception staff are so rude and are very quick to get you to sit down so they can go back to chatting. When you book an appointment over the phone and request face to face, the reception staff ask you to disclose why you want to come in for a face to face consultation. This is a breach in the RACGP code. Reception staff cannot demand an explanation for the appointment. If someone is wanting to see a doctor for mental health advice and is asked by reception to explain the reason for the appointment, it could lead that patient to become anxious and hang up and not seek support. It’s very uncomfortable and a massive red flag for a GP clinic. Hopefully West Brunswick Clinic sees this review and improves their patient experience.

Love this practice. I’ve seen a few different drs and the nurse over the last few years and have always been impressed. Highly recommend.

Had a great experience with Dr Parker recently. Very attentive and easy to talk to. I do wish this clinic offered Covid vaccine like other clinics did esp for first dose as it was impossible to get if not already a patient at another clinic that offered Covid vaccine. I wonder why this decision? Otherwise very happy.

I’ve been coming to this clinic for a number of years and Dr Nicole Minchin is my prime Gp. She is the best! I cannot recommend her more she’s empathetic, understanding and I feel very comfortable with her. It’s hard to find a good doctor that you can be vulnerable with and I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with Nicole. Thanks West Brunswick medical x

Enough is enough. I've put up with the variable standard of care from this Clinic for years but I'm never going back here again. Why a baby with what turned out to be nappy rash needed to be sent to the ED for a covid test is beyond me!

I booked in as a new patient feeling very vulnerable due to the nature of why I booked and there not being any female doctors available on the day. After I had shared some very personal information about myself, the male doctor who I saw declined to carry out the standard female tests I needed and made me feel so embarrassed and ashamed. He placed judgement on me and some of the alternative medicine I mentioned, and told me to go back to my usual GP. I am absolutely mortified at the service. Considering this is a private practice and I had reluctantly agreed to pay the high appointment cost when I book thinking it would be exceptional service, I could not believe what I experienced. I walked out in tears. Luckily the doctor at least waved the fee when I asked, after I waited an hour in the waiting room only to be turned away. I then received a voicemail from him apologising that he did not feel comfortable, running a simple test that is standard in GP practise and I easily had done at another clinic. I had even asked upon booking whether the males doctors do these tests and was advised they do. It was an awful experience.
