Holy heck, the lamb and rosemary pie here is tying for top spot of best pie I've ever had in my life. YUM. No mince/mystery meat here, just big chunks and gravy. Delicious. Blueberry walnut slice is super yummy, lemon tart a smidge too sweet for my liking, but still excellent pastry. Beautiful ambience too :
Wow, what a great bakery. We stopped here on our recent road trip and, having called in at a number of bakeries on our travels, this has got to be one of the best. An excellent choice of pastries, pies and cakes, friendly and fast service. We look forward to travelling through Brunswick Heads in the future so we can stop by this awesome bakery again.
Got up early this morning drove down to Brunswick Heads,cafe were busy park out front of the bakery knowing I'm barred from all bakery's world wide, I will be strong order a flat white and a BLT toasted great coffee Blt freshly made bun and toasted high quality ingredient and real good coffee and the best freindly staff good value I don't give out 5s
Hands down best bakery we’ve ever been to. Every time we visit Brunswick Heads, we get breakfast which always includes a cake/slice each, because yolo and it is seriously AMAZING! Do not miss this place if you are visiting or passing through Brunswick Heads
A bakery loved by locals, the bread tastes very fragrant, and the dessert is bretta but sometimes the taste is different and blueberry ta. The fruit of blueberry is sweet and sour, and it is matched with fresh cream that is not greasy and sweet. Great
Just love this place: great food and coffee and welcoming atmosphere. Lovely helpful staff. You should see their salad rolls. Now a year later, mid Covid, and still a cracking place! And now another year further on, Covid retreating sort-of, and this place is still the best place in town. Coeliacs take heart, some new scrumptious gf treats are on hand. Check out lovely little tarts. And... Another year on, Feb 2023, we're even happier because one of their most gorgeous waitresses is back!
The best pies we have had in a long time. I had the chunky beef and hubby had beef/mushroom pie, both were delicious. There was a huge variety of other goodies including cakes and slices....the raspberry slice is to die for. Excellent/prompt customer service. Highly recommend Bruns Bakery.
Fast, efficient and friendly staff able to get the deck clear in minutes. Got toasted sangers and great coffee in 5min and with a crowd before us. Delightful stop, on our drive south. Will call in if we come this way again.
So yum... Had the ham and tomato quiche and the bee sting. $10 for both. Open space with industrial vibes and friendly and quick service. Was hard to limit myself to just these two items - great variety of bread, cheesecakes, danishes, sweets, sandwiches, salads and pies. If getting the bee sting - custard cream sandwiched by sweet bread with toasted almonds on top with sticky honey - it is big enough for 2...
I had a lovely experience here, nothing like a nice hot pie on a rainy day. The pie was of great quality. The staff were lovely and friendly, extremely accommodating to customer requests. Had a nice choccy milk, that was good. I also had a cupcake, and it was a very beautiful cupcake, very tasty too. Would recommend.
