Place is easy to find and just a short walk from the tram line. I went there for breakfast and had the eggs benedict, which the hollandaise sauce was really good. I finished with a pistachio cube croissant and a long black, both very nice.nnThe space is large and welcoming, with friendly staff and plenty of seating in the morning. There are so many beautiful sweets on display, all presented so well that I wanted to try everything. I will definitely be coming back.
Brunetti in Melbourne's CBD is one of those places that instantly draws you in with its incredible display of cakes, pastries, gelato and authentic Italian treats. Everything looked fresh and beautifully presented, and it was honestly hard to decide what to order. The coffee was excellent and paired perfectly with the desserts.nnBe prepared though, this place is extremely popular and can get very crowded, especially during lunch, after work and on weekends. Finding a table can take a little patience, so if you prefer a quieter experience, try visiting early in the morning or during mid-afternoon on a weekday.nnWe tried the signature hot chocolate and it didn't disappoint.nnDespite the crowds, the atmosphere is lively and energetic, making it part of the Melbourne café experience. The service moved surprisingly quickly considering how busy it was, and the quality of the food made the wait worthwhile. If you have a sweet tooth or simply want to experience one of Melbourne's iconic Italian cafés, Brunetti is definitely worth a visit.
Had a really enjoyable dinner at Brunetti Oro on Flinders Lane. We ordered the rigatoni and lamb risotto, and both were absolutely perfect — delicious, well prepared and full of flavour. Definitely two dishes I would recommend.nnWe also tried an Aperol Spritz for the first time. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but it was refreshing and interesting to try something new!nnOverall, a great dining experience with delicious food and a lovely atmosphere. Would definitely come back to try more dishes next time!
The coffee, cakes, pizza and other dishes never disappoint. I especially recommend the grilled barramundi- it was absolutely delicious.nWhen I had breakfast with my family last Tuesday 7/7/26, I noticed a young man working at the coffee counter with shoulder-length hair. He was frequently brushing his hair back with his hands while preparing drinks. As a friendly suggestion, it may be worth asking him to tie his hair back, just like the other staff female, to help maintain health and hygiene standards.nOverall, a great experience, as always. I’ve been a fan of Brunetti since the days of its original Lygon Street location, so moving back to Melbourne and discovering this venue was a real treat. It has quickly become my favourite Brunetti. From the outside, it’s quite understated, but step inside and you’re greeted by a spacious, light-filled interior that’s beautifully designed with various seating options shared tables, counter seatings, etc. When I introduced it to my partner, it immediately became one of his favourites too.nnWe love stopping by for a coffee and pastry. With such an incredible display of cakes, pastries, and sweet treats, it’s almost impossible to leave empty-handed. The coffee is always excellent and, most importantly, consistently good. Despite how popular it is, we’ve never had trouble finding a table. The wait is mainly when ordering food or drinks.nnWe’ve also visited in the evening after a show, and the food has been just as impressive. Every time I’m here, the place is buzzing with people and a great atmosphere. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever seen it quiet, regardless of the time of day.nnA true Melbourne institution that never disappoints.
