TLDR: Their fruit loaves are good, but we rarely come here anymore because of price coupled with the eftpos minimum. After a recent makeover, for some reason they started requiring a minimum eftpos of $5 and no longer do cash-out. A basic white loaf of bread is just shy of the minimum $4.10 I think? which means if you don't have cash, you have to add something to your purchase. Not so good, if you just need a sandwich loaf. Although most of the other local bakeries have similar minimums or accept cash only: a they are cheaper without diminishing quality, and b they are located just outside a supermarket where cash is easily available without adding to your purchase. Their fruit loafs are really tasty so I still occasionally come here for one of those, but for the everyday sandwich loaves, we now go to another bakery.
Brought a sausage roll and bacon and cheese pie, more pastry than meat in the sausage roll and the meat pie! I'm definitely sure that it's a frozen meat pie and not baked fresh at all. Won't be back again! waste of money.
Since the new owner Chinese took over, the food has gone down the vanilla slices topping is hard as a rock. The bread is been baked a different way like the crust is floury taste, cant beat a Vietnamese baker i say and i not been prejudiced but his food has gone down hill .I think he sack all the nice pleasant staff too .Yet he tell me he is baking to Brumby formula, but i dont beleive he is. You be the judge. Karma to him
Good customer service.Overall quality of the products in the Calamvale Brumbys bakery needs improvement. Let's be positive and hoping they can bring the quality like it use to be in the past.
The customer service is warm and friendly, unfortunately their "chunky steak" pies need some work. My home made gravy has more chunks in it than the chunks in their "baked-in-store" pies.
Lovely staff. Always accept my bread bag although im terrible at sewing and made my own.
Good bakery for fresh baked bread. Bit pricey but the quality is good.
Great sourdough bread. Best I tasted yet in a Brumby's or Baker's Delight bakery!
Rubbish product and service. Don't mind paying for quality however their products are poor and overpriced. Would never go back.
