Brown Sugar is a local, Bondi bistro, tucked away on Curlewis Street, just a block away form the beach. We're open for nightly dinners and breakfast & lunch on Friday, Saturday & Sundays.

Brown Sugar is all about healthy, hand-made traditional dishes with influences from the Mediterranean regions of Italy and France.

Our seasonal menu is composed of the finest, locally sourced, ethically harvested produce that we can get our hands on. You'll be treated to food that is creative, full of flavour and cooked with care and passion.

I enjoyed every dish. Looking great, tasting also great! Tajima beef was so tender. Loved grilled eggplant that goes really well with the beef. Staff were very friendly and nice. Highly recommend.
Had really nice brunch here. The food was fresh and full of flavour. Portion sizes were also very reasonable, and we struggled to finish it all. Overall a really enjoyable healthy meal. Highly recommended.
From start to finish, it was a super nice moment with my two friends. We came for dinner, had the 3 course menu. Good portions, delicious and we'll presented. Good wine too. And as importantly, the staff was super nice, helpful, discret but present. Highly recommend the place.

Great venue to celebrate life moments with your loved ones! I book a table for a friend's baby shower. The organisation was perfectly smooth thanks to the friendliest staff. We all loved our dishes - special mention for the fish pie that is incredible!
