The perfect location for when you’re feeling like a sweet treat. I really love the honey toast, I’ve never tried anything similar to that before and highly recommend. Their Bingsu is huge and recommend sharing it! I also love their iced matcha drinks!
Liked the bingsu at Brown Spoon Willetton! The shaved ice was incredibly fine and fluffy, almost like fresh snow, and the toppings were generous and full of flavour. We tried the honeydew and Injulmi, it was pretty balanced — not too sweet and super refreshing. The presentation was ok, and the portion size was great for sharing. Staff were warm and welcoming, and the café had a cosy, relaxed vibe. Definitely my new go-to spot for a sweet treat in Willetton!
been here a few times. they’re really neat and close to my area! don’t have to go all the way to vic park for them anymore hahanni got pork tonkotsu with rice for lunch a year ago. it’s a very large chunk and very crispy, i felt a bit iffy on the gravy’s taste thoughnnsecond came a few months after when i got dessert with my bestie. i had the lotus croffle, you get vanilla icecream scoop on top. it’s soooo warm and good, leans on the sweeter side but not overly, and soft on the inside yet firm enough on the outside to hold its texture well against the toppings.nnthen i ordered a lotus cheesecake from them for my birthday because cheesecakes are my favorite. have to call 2 days in advance. brought it home and it slid very easily on the cardboard plate which made it iffy to cut and serve but this was a really damn good cake! i enjoyed how soft the main part was, and how it wasn’t overly sweet, just the right amount of flavor to be epic. the base is extremely crumbly but tastes good as well, though it would’ve been awesome if it was also made of crushed lotus - it was more basic but the central filling has lotus chunks in it which is more than good enough.nnand most recently i got the samgyetang jook / congee / rice porridge. it came with some sort of karaage chicken. i really enjoyed the taste of it all, chicken served hot, the congee nice and good portion.
The food was delicious, and the place was very comfortable.nThe donkatsu was perfectly crispy and went really well with the sauce.nThe kimchi wasn’t too spicy, and the portion was just right to enjoy with the bread.nDefinitely a place I’d love to visit again!
The original burnt cheesecake is a must-try. It melts in the mouth. The black sesame and watermelon bingsus are our family-favourite. Great ambience and right next to KaeSung the korean supermaket. Plenty os seats and tables, great place for hang out with friends and families.
