I really enjoy having a look through this op shop, but I just have one bit of feedback and I really don’t mean to cause any offence - The last few times I’ve been there they’ve always had jazz music playing in the background and to put it mildly I’m not a fan of jazz and can’t handle staying for long. It would be great to hear a few other genres every so often :- Thank you for the huge variety of clothing :-
I tried to let the man working know that there was a big hole in a $25 dress and he tried to sell it to me for $20. He told me it was a label it was Sara from Ezibuy which isn't particularly expensive. I wanted to save someone from paying too much for a dress splitting at the seams especially when it's harder to find nice plus size clothing. Overall I found this store's clothing overpriced for the quality. They did have a good selection of contemporary fiction books though I appreciate it's a charity but I'd reccomend checking out the Brotherhood in Moonee Ponds for labels at reasonable prices.
Staff are friendly, it's an op-shop dedicated to helping those who can't afford more expensive stuff. Open to taking in good stuff, reasonable prices. HUGE space, for clothes, furniture, bedding, books, all household things. They were really welcoming and chatty and open.
A fantastic op shop with a massive range of clothes, books, furniture, kitchenware, antiques, beds and more. The staff are friendly and are happy to help you out. Whether its looking for something or helping you carry a larger item. Expert tip: There are toilets at the front of the shop that few know about. The door is covered with posters so it looks like a wall. But take a closer look and you'll find toilets! Now you can double your op shopping time without having to leave in search of toilets. The kitchenware is sorted by colour which is pretty helpful. Sometimes this section can be chaotic in other op shops. This grouping makes your search more bearable. Feeling tired from shopping? Head out the back of the shop and turn left for a great cafe, Lucy Locket, that makes awesome coffee. Or, theres Gelobar, Woodstock Pizza, New York Minute Burgers and lots more out on Lygon St.
A large BSL with lots of clothes, furniture, housewares, & books. The volunteer workers are friendly and hardworking. Our go-to Op Shop.
Books, toys, clothing, furniture, there's a big abundance of everything in this op shop.
Great variety and service - worth dropping in and spending some time here
it's huge in a convenient location with a large section of clothes, homewares, etc. however there's a significant markup on items deemed "special" or good-quality brands such as Dickies. my family depended on op shops for all our goods and we wouldn't have been able to purchase at these prices when i was young. i completely understand asking the "regular customer" for that price but offering it at a reasonable rate to those in need is a good idea. it's devastating that the very people who need these services are being priced out of them. i'd recommend traveling to fawkner salvos etc.
Ok op shop but with pretty good prices. All the stuff was kind of dated but we got what we came for. Over all a 3 star rating. Pretty mid
There is a great selection of clothes at this OP shop. You'll find many decent brands. Most clothes are priced cheaply $6-10. There is a special finds section at the front of the store which is a bit more expensive but I've found designer dresses being sold for $30 when they retail new for $600+. Very reasonable.
