Now located in the former "Mirabella" store 70-80s classic Italian furniture this BSL store has captured that mojo and put its own spin on it. Op shop / designer boutique / disco inferno - I came for the bargains but stayed for the mirror balls
So many levels of amazing! Well laid out and good prices. So much variety, couldn’t stop taking photos!
New location for the big and browsable Bro of St Laurence op shop in Brunswick, into the old Mirabella Lights/Travel building on Lygon St. Friendly greeting and easy to browse racks with a room of more designerish clothes and cheap racks of clean undamaged clothes. Found a great book as well. Dress your kid for very cheap. Fun visit in a few light-filled rooms. Jewellery is still well above the usual standard and many choices at this store.
The Brunswick Brotherhood has been one of my favourite op shops since the 1980s. Since the moved around the corner, it’s even better! The ‘something special’ section is larger now. The funky music and friendly staff keep it at the top of my list of fave op shops.
Staff are friendly, it's an op-shop dedicated to helping those who can't afford more expensive stuff. Open to taking in good stuff, reasonable prices. HUGE space, for clothes, furniture, bedding, books, all household things. They were really welcoming and chatty and open.
I’ve been a shopper with the BSL Brunswick store for many years, both at its old location and now new spot on Lygon St. This op shop has always been my go-to, with the staff and volunteers always so friendly & welcoming, and so many great finds that I think about 80% of my wardrobe is probably from this store!
A fantastic op shop with a massive range of clothes, books, furniture, kitchenware, antiques, beds and more. The staff are friendly and are happy to help you out. Whether its looking for something or helping you carry a larger item. Expert tip: There are toilets at the front of the shop that few know about. The door is covered with posters so it looks like a wall. But take a closer look and you'll find toilets! Now you can double your op shopping time without having to leave in search of toilets. The kitchenware is sorted by colour which is pretty helpful. Sometimes this section can be chaotic in other op shops. This grouping makes your search more bearable. Feeling tired from shopping? Head out the back of the shop and turn left for a great cafe, Lucy Locket, that makes awesome coffee. Or, theres Gelobar, Woodstock Pizza, New York Minute Burgers and lots more out on Lygon St.

Shopped here again recently and had an amazing experience. Great music playing whilst I shopped, huge variety of items, good prices and the staff were very friendly and helpful. One of the best op shops in Melbourne. I live on the other side of the city and it's always worth the visit!
