The clinic was very close to home and front desk was really understandable when my husband and I brought in our Tofu. We were a walk in and wanted our puppy to get seen the same day we got her. They were able to get us in right away. We saw Dr. Jo and she was amazing! She reassured us and answered all of our questions. And her assistant Jack was super nice! Overall Tofu is healthy and will be coming back for her next check up.
We brought our elderly dog here for care. We brought her in for incontinence issues to make sure there wasn’t anything we could do do to make her more comfortable. She was having frequent accidents with blood in her urine and overall seemed to be declining. The first vet we saw seemed disengaged and didn’t do a full exam. She pointed out she had lost 6 pounds and made no recommendation on the weight loss. She quickly prescribed liquid antibiotics for the bathroom issue. We felt as though was a drive though vet. Weeks later we went in for a recheck as the issue never cleared up. This time we saw a new bet because the previous one was no longer employed there. They charged us for another urinalysis for $90. They again prescribed antibiotics but this time told us it could be a beef flavored pill instead of a disgusting tasting liquids that we would have to again force our senior dog to drink. Thankfully the pill was much easier however this did not clear up the issue. After multiple calls with no call backs or recommendations. We went in again for an exam and did a blood panel and they told us everything was fine. They told us the dog was old and there was nothing more we could. Later on a Saturday. She could not go to the bathroom. Knowing this was an emergency and wanting to help her we call the vet they told us they would call back Monday morning. Which they never did. We called other vets and brought into the u of m emergency vet. The vet we saw quickly was able to diagnose bladder cancer based on what we told her and informed us that at this stage there was more that could be done. I wish that Brooklyn park pet hospital would have at least seemed to care for my dog. We had to prepare our kids to say good bye in a few minutes rather than having some time to work with them. I would never recommend this vet to anyone and will never bring another of my pets there even if they are the only vet available. They seem so disengaged and transactional. I hope people read this review and take it seriously before bring your pets there.
I stumbled upon Brooklyn Park Pet Hospital when I needed emergency care for my dog Demeter. We have only been living here for 2 months. They took such great care of her, even with her anxiety and the trauma related to why she needed care, she was much calmer than I would have expected. I tribute that to the staff and how great they were with her. Since then, we have transferred care and couldn't be happier.
I cannot speak highly enough of this team! I LOVE everyone at Brooklyn Park Pet Hospital and I am so thankful for them. I take all 3 of my pups here and they always receive the best care. If something happens that is outside of their limits, they quickly send me to someone who can help. They always put the animals first and it's very obvious. They have some of the best pricing in the cities and make it affordable to take your whole family of pets there! They also provide boarding and daycare at an extremely affordable price. If you're looking for a permanent vet solution, this is your place to go!!
Meant to leave this earlier… We had to use Brooklyn Park Pet Hospital as an urgent care for our German Shepherd. We were able to get in the next day but had to reschedule due to our dog being too aggressive and we needed to calm him down. The entire staff, from the receptionist to the doctors and everyone in between were so very helpful, accommodating and totally understanding. This is what we needed because this was a difficult time for our dog and for us as well. I highly recommend this place!!!!
Dr Elliot was very thorough in not only diagnosis of the issue we were there for but also my dogs general over all health. The vet staff was kind and gentle with my "nervous Nellie" dog. I found this vet clinic to be friendly to human and animal but very professional at the same time. I am blessed to have found them for the medical care of my pets.
First time at this clinic with my senior cat, I am so glad I went. Front desk staff were very friendly a major plus , the two techs sorry ladies I’m not good with names were also very friendly another major plus and Dr. Croswell was kind, supportive, thoughtful and honest. I will be making BPPH my new vet clinic!
Daphne and I had an excellent first visit at the clinic. Dr. Jami Stromberg and the other team members had exactly the right approach to my little coonhound to limit her stress and to win her trust and mine. It couldn't have gone any better.

Didn’t get to have my pet seen until 30 minutes after the appointment time. But, as always, the attention and care given to my pet was outstanding, which is why our pets have been seen here for nearly two decades! Thanks again BPPH!
