From the moment we stepped in the staff was courteous and friendly, this was reinforced by the wait staff knowing my friend as a regular diner. Building that relationship goes to show the amount of care for their customers and takes it to a personal level. The presentation of the food and taste was outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere. The service was great and at no time was it lacking or too over the top. Will definitely recommend this place to dine.
Food was amazing. We enjoyed the sauce of every dish. Rich flavours but well balanced. It was so good to just enjoy the sauce with their nice bread too. Friendly and lovely service. Beautiful and cozy atmosphere in the restaurant. Will definitely go back.
What a gorgeous Sunday evening From the moment we walked in, to find a busy venue, a warm welcome from the gentleman inside and a beautiful table in the courtyard given to us. Our server Sophie, was an absolute delight. Attentive, knowledgeable, fun and just all round wonderful. Food was also very good. Highly recommend the tartare and artichoke! A new neighbourhood favourite for us Thank you guys xxx
Great service, calm atmosphere and quality food. Salted caramel ice cream was the best ice cream I ever had in my life!
Loved the environment and friendly staff! The food was also delicious... order the salmon and the choc berry cake with salted caramel ice cream as dessert
I just finished dinner here and I’ll preface this by saying that the food was excellent. The stars reflect my experience of the service. Again, I’ll preface this by saying that there was a lovely young woman who from time to time checked in on us and she was great. The male server possibley North American who took our order and brought our good though was a bit icy through out and I was like, okay, maybe he’s just not friendly. I decided not to leave a tip. Just as I was leaving, I almost forgot my backback. I turned around and grabbed it, just as I picked it up, he says ‘ don’t forget your bag,” I said ‘I got it, thanks’ to which he replies ‘ almost had to call the bomb squad.” I’m a south Asian man of Middle Eastern appearance, thought it was a really inappropriate comment. I would dismiss it as a bad joke, but having been subject to this sort of racism for much of my life, I feel compelled to write about it. Hence the 2 stars. Call out your staff and do better.
Decent enough food. Nice steak, well cooked. It was rather small, or maybe just looked small due to the mound of frittes piled on the plate, which didn't really bring much more than volume. Lots of staff and depending on who you interact with service ranged from pleasant and engaging to pretty arrogant. Busy, quite loud environment, mostly open plan overlooking a very busy main road. Certainly not an unpleasant experience however when it comes to paying the bill, for what you get, it is one of the most over-priced meals I've eaten in Sydney.
Very disappointed. Far from authentic French food. The bread was not fresh and burnt black Also overpriced and very small servings. I even had to eat pasta when I arrived back home although we spent almost $300 for 3 people with some disgusting wine. They don't leave the bottle of wine on the table and keep serving you so that you finish it faster, which is also not a great thing to do when you are driving.
Food is lovely, staff we think an owner, was snotty and rude. Never go back again.
Really loved it here. Food was fantastic and the staff were all so lovely! Trying to plan when I can come back! Loved the steak tartare, chicken liver parfait, cheese soufflé, preferred steak frites over the confit duck but did really like the duck. Looking forward to exploring more of the menu soon!
