The self-pickup service was smooth and the communication with Morena was great she answered all our questions through email before the trip had even started!. And I always say that when things get bad that’s when you can really see how professional a team is… well they’ve all been a 10/10. We had a small incident and hit the solar panel of our van and Steven from road care service was super helpful and found us a mechanic in a few minutes that solved our problem allowing us to continue with the trip! Thanks to all the Britz team for your great service
Great experience getting a 4WD! It has fridge not freezer btw has camping chair, tent, pillow, everything u need! Great 12 days trip with the car. Not much storage in the car thou but if you don’t bring too much stuff, all is good. They even have all the cooking stuff and utensils
Customer services from start to finish was amazing. Was able to use web chat while on the road to sort an issue out with the BBQ. Was sorted immediately by the "on the road team". The camper was spacious with everything needed for a two week touring holiday. The thl app was easy to use with quick guides on how to use the camper. This is a great way to see Australia without the hassle of finding affordable hotels and you get to live that 'out door' life at your own leisure.
Picked up our 4 berth from Britz. The young kiwi girl who sorted us with the campervan was great to deal with. Gave us all the info we needed. The camper had a couple of things that could be changed, the entertainment unit scratched a couple of dvds, and the drawer that keep the pots keep opening on our drive. But just stuffed a cloth between the 2 drawers and that fixed it. Over all we had everything we needed, and were so happy with the campervan. We did think though that we might not hand it back to them and just keep going right around Australia. We were so sad to give it back and for anyone wanting a great experience we highly recommend it. The camping grounds were fantastic, clean bathrooms and great staff also. But won't be our last time doing this. 5 Stars guys.
My friend and I travelled around WA in the Maui van and absolutely loved it. No need to pack a bag for the day, cooked dinner by beach and drove our house everywhere we went. The van is easy to drive and is spacious to live in. Travelling in a van in a must, throw your tent in the bin.
When over in Oz we always hire a van from here. The office is big so you can take luggage with you, lots of books and ideas where to go. We hired a sprinter and it was quite old but so reliable. We covered over 10k and saw loads of fantastic things. The staff were really nice, one slight error was they forgot to include pre paid toilet fluid so I bought some and they refunded me. When we collected the van the lady was quite vague about the van and needed more training and told us to fill the pre paid gas bottle and claim it back! Another lady helped us and also showed us how things worked on the van. When we returned the van the lady was amazing, so happy and so helpful. One thing I would always do is pay the extra insurance for the windscreen, you will deffo get a chip thanks to the road trains!! We had such a great time and having the freedom of the van made our trip so much easier. There were just a couple of things due to the age of the van, lots of plastic covers were missing and my boyfriend cut his leg on the metal on the seat due to the cover missing and the curtains needed a wash. Not huge issues and I'm sure they will be sorted. Also it was automatic so very easy to drive and very comfortable.
We hired the 6 Berth in July for a 9 day trip from Perth to Monkey Mia, 3 adults a teenager and a dog onboard. There was fast friendly service at pickup and very little instructions required at pickup as the app with instruction videos was fantastic. The van was easy to drive with no issues the whole trip and the three beds worked perfectly for us. It is a house on wheels so expect plenty of cabin noise, we found that using towels in the cupboards and drawers while on the road to cushion any banging worked well. We paid the full insurance and after hours express drop off fee which made both the pickup and drop off process a breeze. As first timers with a motorhome and campgrounds we did not know what to expect, but we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Great job Britz.
Rented a 4x4 to go explore up North for a week and it was amazing. We had the Hilux with a rooftop tent and the vehicle was perfect. We were able to go wherever we wanted, nothing was off limits. The only negatives would be the layout of the storage area. The space isn’t the easiest to work with, that being said I think we also over packed. It’s something to consider if you’re renting one of these as more is definitely less. We also found the vehicle to have a bald front left tire. This was spotted halfway through when we adjusting the tyre pressure. We should have spotted this when picking it up but I would expect the company to spot this prior to renting it out. When we collected the vehicle they were late opening and only had one staff member available which meant collection took almost 45mins. I would recommend and use Britz again but next time pack less and check every inch prior to driving away.
Hired a motorhome 9 days. Had a great time. Motorhome was great comfy and well equiped. Saw some fantastic places ans scenery. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Would highly recommend.
We had a wonderful first Camper trip in WA. The folks at Britz were very helpful and gave us very clear instructions. Returning the Maui Campervan was hassle free and easy too! Short distance from the airport and pretty new vehicle too. We will definitely use their services again!
