What an fantastic place. Hopped on a bus in Brissy and it was only a very short walk to the motor museum . Brilliant cafe with lovely food. Entrance to the motor show is via the upstairs cafe. There is a lift for convenience. The museum it's self was absolutely fantastic. In places Like walking back in time. Amazing cars from gone by eras. And the good thing is the cars are changed every 3 months. Thank you for a brilliant day out . We will definitely be back.

This truly is a car lovers nirvana, with many makes and models local and foreign on show, from ; - classic marques to racing rigs*, grand tourers, muscle cars, as well as people movers.nnYou do not need to be an ultra enthusiast, nor an expert, as regards motor vehicles, as the awesome automobiles on show, are time capsule stories with historical backstories of potential interest, to all.nnFor me, it was a fabulous flashback overload experience, as cars I had either driven or ridden, in 'back in the day' in the immaculate presented showroom, triggered some great personal memories.nnThat also included, some wonderful reminiscing of Bathurst 1000 touring cars battles on Mount Panorama, from ; - Ford vs Holden, to the Mini Cooper S, and Mazda RX-7 as well as a standout for mine, getting up close and personal with the mighty Nissan Skyline GT-R R32, which dominated the 'Big Race' in the early 1990s.nnEasy to find off the Motorway - near Brisbane Airport, plenty enough undercover parking, gift shop I bought a fridge magnet, helpful staff and a fine looking inhouse cafe open to the general public, too.nnIt really is the proverbial hidden gem .... , just an awesome place to visit.nnAnd I will be back @CoffeeChillTV ...
Overall I think the Motor Museum's current display was really good. I think they would benefit from having someone in the souvenir and ticketing area on a more regular basis. I appreciated the underground carpark. I'll be back again. I can't imagine the planning that takes place! Well done all! Spot Detective Columbo's car.
I had a fantastic time exploring the Brisbane Motor Museum. The collection is impressive, with a thoughtful mix of classic favourites and unique vehicles you don’t often get to see up close. The displays are well presented, and you can tell a lot of care goes into maintaining the space.nnThe only thing that would have made it a five‑star visit is a bit more interactivity or storytelling around some of the exhibits. Still, it’s absolutely worth the trip for any car enthusiast or anyone who appreciates a well-curated museum.
