The Brisbane Markets is home to two different markets.

The Saturday Fresh Market is a foodie’s delight, with fresh produce and gourmet goodies galore, while the Sunday Discovery Market is a second-hand shopping haven.

We were sick of getting rubbish fruit and vegetables from the major supermarkets so we decided to try the Brisbane Markets.  As you can see by the photos the fruit and vegetables were incredibly fresh and delicious. It's not just fruit and vegies there, you can buy flowers and plants.  Fresh honey, sun glasses, ornaments,  get your face painted or sit and relax with a coffee or breakfast. There is something for everyone there.

Great place to get the weekly fruit and veg and plants. Plenty of options to start the day with a brekkie of your choice. Spacious seating area and just a nice musician who was not aiming to have centre stage in the volume department

Great place to spend Saturday morning browsing the stalls. Mostly fresh produce and plants here and be prepared to line up for a while to pay for your fruit n veges as it is very busy especially early on. Plenty of variety in food stalls and lots of seating. It's all undercover at the Rocklea market site so wet weather isn't an issue plus there's free undercover parking too!. Well worth a visit , I recommend arriving mid morning to avoid the early crowds.

Nice little pop up markets that appear every Wednesday out front the Brisbane state library. Good selection of international foods to select from. Great place to have lunch if you're passing this way

For more than five years we’ve been buying Brisbane’s freshest and cheapest fruit and vegetable from Brisbane Markets. It’s a Saturday morning ritual and it is fantastic. Friendly staff. Beautiful breakfasts. Fresh fruit and verges.

Like the new venue better than the old  parking is so much more accessible and all stalls under the roof make it protected from sun and rain Recomm3nd driving to the too and parking at the crossover, plus the loft is air-conditioned..

I won't go anywhere else for flowers! Great prices & lots to choose from
