Brisbane Airport

The international terminal is awesome! The main seating area is in the middle with plenty of seating and a high glass ceiling. There are tall palm trees to add a tropical ambience to the place. There's seating for groups or for individuals - seating for relaxation or for work. Plenty of power outlets and USB ports to keep devices powered on the sides of seats & walls and on tables. Upstairs are the flying club lounges and a public space that gives good views of the planes and tarmac. The arms that lead to other gates have leather couches in them

I have flown out of both the domestic and international airports numerous times over a 7 year period and have always enjoyed Brisbane airport and it facilities. Both airports are well laid out, the security and screening staff are excellent. They do their jobs but don’t come down too heavy handed. I find the broader security staff here so much better than Sydney who seem to have a charisma bypass. My dislike of Sydney airports so much unless drastically more expensive I’ll fly out of Brisbane every time. Good food selection is available from both airports. There is baggage storage lockers that you can hire here if you wish to go into the city in case of a long stop over between flights. There is also a free bus that will transfer you between domestic and international. Frequency varies a little but I have never waited longer than 10 minutes.

The airport is well laid out. It is not too busy and check in is a breeze. The customs departure too is nice and quick to process. There are lots of duty free stores inside with plenty of stores for food. The airport has a new feel about It and is very clean.

Hello Brisbane Airport - please lift your game. Surely you can get a few cafes with fantastic coffee and food. What's there is pretty ordinary. There are some great cafes in Brisbane itself and the Airport has the resources to do it, so there's really no excuse. It'd make the experience of hanging around for your plane far more enjoyable. I go in and out Brisbane Domestic Airport a bit and have tried most of the cafes. Come on Brisbane Airport you can do it! Nice airport with all the regular features. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable. Facilities are well managed and clean. The layout is simple and easy to follow. Quite a lot of connections to Asia make it a good one to transit through.
