"East Brighton Golf Club is a private members club that takes pride in being the friendliest and most sociable in the area. The Club was founded in 1893 and in 1908, James Braid, Open Champion five times between 1901 and 1910, redesigned the downland course to basically what we see today. The course remains playable throughout the year, due to being built on chalk."

Great course, some tough holes with nice greens and well kept fairways. Lovely views too, especially on a clear day. Halfway house was great. Couple of holes were a bit hard to figure out, but would recommend playing there.
Played a round here last week. Really fun golf course; well designed, in very good condition and with lovely views of the surrounding area though beware if the wind blows! Really good variation in holes. Joined up with a three ball for the back nine who were charming and did the membership great credit. Would definitely recommend to all!
East Brighton is a interesting course to play which is challenging and offers a few different types of holes to keep you on your toes and with the wind always being different it can be unpredictable, which is refreshing to play. The club house is great and offers everything that you want. The fairways, rough and bunkers are all in good condition. Plus the greens are always running nicely. The half way shack is a nice place to take a break with a great view. The negatives would be that the green fees are expensive if you don't play with a member. 60% of the tee boxes are awful they are so uneven to play off. Slow play is horrific here I have had multiple rounds over 4 hours and 20 minutes with a couple being a lot longer than that. It can be hard to find parking spaces in busy times as well.
Great course, fantastic views when it's clear. There's a public footpath cutting through the end of the course making the end a little more precarious. Lovely clubhouse, great vibe and would visit again.
Played here in May 2023 course is the best I've seen it super friendly sraff and members and good food and Harvey's beers at the end of the round Should be considered the best of the local downland clubs
Great course with lots of variety! Awesome views all the way round. Highly recommend a visit
One of the most breathtaking views I've ever seen in a golf course. Winds are crazy but the view was totally worth the terrible golf that I played that day.
Nice course and would recommend ordering from the halfway house.
Really enjoyed the course. Greens a little slow and a lot of blind drives, which was challenging for a visitor who was not on best form me. Panoramic views over the South Downs, Brighton and the Channel. Very hilly. We had a buggy, but it would have been a strenuous walk. Half Way House was excellent. Club House / bar was welcoming and the beer was good. Would have liked a few more food options. Overall, would like to play again, especially if the sun was shining.
Great fun with #forebiz in #Brighton will be back after my 10 points front 9 but 20 points back 9, crazy #golf
