Well I don’t write generally negative reviews too quick. It was Saturday night and we made our booking for 7 people with one high chair but when we visited there, we didn’t have the chair for small kid. Food prices were quite expensive that make sense because of most tourists visit but the quantity of food was very less. I am sorry if this review is hurting the staff and the owner but I hope this could be one way where they start improving their service. Seriously we ordered for large plate and what we got was between small to medium. Also the taste of the food wasn’t good enough.
We had the satay chicken and beef and black bean to take away and it was delicious. After seeing how nice it is in the dining room we will be eating in on our next visit to Bright. Good prices and fresh ingredients.
Don’t judge a book by its cover…. Great dine in meal with a large group of family and friends. Highly recommend the banquet. Service a little slow but we were on holidays so there was no rush. BYO Beer & Wine.
One of the best Chinese meals we have had in years! Don’t let the look off the place put you off great food! Kid-friendliness: Good for kids as well.
Great value, the roof top beer garden is a hidden secret, ask at the counter.
Worst honey chicken and sweet n sour ever purchased. There is more batter than chicken would not recommend and barely and batter balls at that
Very quiet when I was there. Mainly take a way. Enjoyed the evening meal.Food: 5/5
I was a bit hesitant to get Chinese from this place due to the hit and miss reviews, but it was a Monday night in Bright so what were we to do. I’m a coeliac and they had very few options - all meat is marinated prior so they weren’t able to accomodate me unless I chose prawns or vegetable dishes. But I was impressed that the guy I ordered from knew what I could and couldn’t have. I got prawns and vegetables in garlic and it was okay. Lots of prawns and the vegetables tasted fresh. We also got a vegetable fried rice which was kind of bland but cooked well. My fellow diners got honey prawns and they rated the batter on the prawns big time. Wasn’t too thick, and was really crispy. But the honey sauce was mega watered down to the point that it was like, well, water. All in all though not an unpleasant experience and I’d order it again in the same circumstances.
Judge a book by its cover. Judge hard. We ordered take away as this was virtually the only place open on a Tuesday night. In hindsight, I’d buy my own dumplings from Coles and steam them instead of eating here again. The food was average at best. At worst, we wondered if the lemon chicken was actually deep fried plastic. The oil was either old, rancid or both. Everything was incredibly greasy. The order was mucked up - we ordered 2 serves of some items and got 2 instead of 4 ie dim sims. We were quoted 20mins, and it was more like an hour before the order was ready. It took all of 6 hours before it ripped right through my guts, and 24 hours later I am still unwell. Do not recommend. We’ll eat at home in future.
My partner and I ate here last night... there home made spring rolls were amazing... thoroughly enjoyed our main meal with the special fried rice... staff were very friendly and accommodating to my allergic dietary needs... definitely would recommend it
