Visited BrewDog Pentridge and had the Parma feed. Overall, it was a solid meal with well-seasoned chips and a banging salad. The Parma itself was decent, though not the best I’ve had—the thickness could’ve been better, and the sauce lacked a real kick. However, the size of the Parma in length was good, and the wings were probs the best dish there. At $33 for the Parma, chips, and salad, it was a bit on the steep side. Small note: the guy who put the NBA game on for us was a champ, great service overall!
I grew up only knowing Pentridge as a prison but what they have done to transform this joint to a great Meeting place and Hang out is amazing, Heaps of room, soo many drinks on Tap and such an electric atmosphere.nnWent with a Group of Work colleagues to watch the Hawks v Crows Semi final and have a Beer, the Fact they had 4 monster screens plus smaller 55in along the walls to viewing anywhere in venue made it easy and allowed people spread across the Beer garden to watch the Game, ample seating and good Vibes.nnIf I lived closed I would 100% be here every weekend !!nnDidn't give stars for food as I didn't get any
Had my 60th birthday celebration there recently, upstairs in the function room. The room itself has a lot of character and really lent itself to being able to theme it the way we wanted. Quite a few guests commented on how great it was and I’m sure will use the venue going forward. The team at Brewdog are as chilled as the brews they served. They were so accommodating, friendly and helpful. I over ordered on the food. They advised me that they wouldn’t heat it all and that we could take what was left. They also provided containers for guests to take some home with them.nPricing was fair and far better than some CBD venues. They have a great range of brews available and they are bloody good drops!nThank you Brewdog team for helping make my birthday celebration one to remember!nYou and your venue are awesome!
Great little gem of a pub. Would be terrific to visit in the warmer months as the outdoor area is extensive. Unique venue housed in the old Pentridge Prison in Coburg, Melbourne.nnFood was plentiful, we had the big dog board, meats, boccocini, capers, pizza bread, seeded mustard, olives, etc. it was enough for 4 people, there were 2 of us so struggled to get through it. We did order the calamari with wasabi dip, which really wasn’t required due to the size of the platter. Calamari was good though!nnMenu has a lot of options. For casual dining, this was a great discovery. Worth a visit.
So apparently Brewdog is a Scottish brewery not a knock-off of the more locally established Moon Dog locations. My ignorance out of the way, this place is awesome. The Pentridge Prison redevelopment is such an amazing location, and Brewdog is no exception. The venue is sprawling, the interior spaces have been beautifully converted, and the drinks and food on offer are sure to please.
