Lots of variety of Asian-styled buns, cakes and pastries. I especially love their taro cakes, almond buns and Japanese milk bread. They also do really cute and creative theme cakes and festive pastries eg for Christmas and Lunar New Year, which are hard to find in the CBD. Staff are usually cold and uninterested but never rude to me, I go here weekly. They charge surcharge when paying by card, so bring cash and own bags.

I really liked their glazed doughnuts but never understood why they got such bad reviews on google. After going there sometimes, now I realize. They are one of the coldest servers I have ever seen in my life. They never say "Hello", never answer back when I say " Hello." Gets rude for no reason and does not communicate clearly. After payment, they just stand there. Never say if it is cleared or not or if I need anything. Nothing.

I paid for a bag today that I didn't get approx. 6:18pm ‍ By the time I realized, my bus had arrived and I had to get on it. I asked for a receipt and got given a register receipt but not EFTPOS receipt. I do enjoy some of their items but I feel everything is so expensive here, and there are surcharges to everything. Check your receipts to ensure you're paying for the correct items and also that you're being charged the correct amounts

I do like Breadtop. But even after spending over $10 there is still a surcharge, why? Staff not friendly and they put white flour all over their faces.

Terrible customer service. The first time I came here, I put it down to the person having a bad day everyone has them. But after going a few more times, I’ve come to realise, this is just how they are. I can appreciate there may be a language barrier, but a smile can’t hurt.

Horrible customer service. I went here in the morning time always and today in lunch time. The lady at the register no smile at all.. When i put down my bread, she didn't say anything even when i tap my card. Should trained your staff how to served customer.

Customer service over the phone ordering a cake was a little hard to understand. Should only take deposit over the phone not full payment for the order. Ordered a rainbow cake and a fruit cake. Tasted great and not too heavy to eat after a buffet dinner.

Great prices with friendly, fast service. The morning coffee is exceptional too... The barista really knows how to make a good cappuccino!

I bought 3 bread today. There is no custard in the custard cream bread and the inside is empty. Another custard bread had no custard cream until half of the bread was eaten.The breads were all disappointing and tasteless. The trays in the store were damp and dirty.One is a custard bun, but receipt has a choc twist.Sometimes the bread you didn't buy may be written on the receipt, so be sure to check the receipt.

I can’t believe the staff didn’t say a single word to me throughout the whole payment. No greet words, did not tell the price, did not ask me whether I need a bag or not, did not ask pay by card or cash. Simply put the amount I have to pay on POS, but I’m going to pay cash! I gave the money to her, and she gave changes back. Still not a single word till I left the store! Is this a new fashionable way to serve customer? Silent service?
