Have bought a few times now. I go for the beef and pork combo with chips. Tried the lamb, it's OK, a nice pink colour, a bit chewy but beef and pork are a touch better. They have a special sauce they sell separately in a bottle for $9 but the combos come with it in a small plastic round container, delicious. Will go again for sure, the salad is ordinary and could be improved alot, but most go for the meat anyway. Stay away if your a vegan or vegetarian .
Great little BBQ Meat and Veggies place located on the corner.nSTAFF: Incredibly kind, attentive and helpful.nOne gentleman even checked on us to see what our food was like, after we finished: 10/10.nFOOD: Great selection of freshly cooked BBQ meats lamb, beef, chicken, pork, roasted vegetables, rice, beans, hot chips and different sauces etc.nPRICING: Very reasonably priced, around $10-30.nAbsolutely incredible flavour and high quality cuts. They also cater to vegetarians and those who are gluten free. They sell a range of meats you can cook at home etc, see pics.nACCESSIBILITY: Bathrooms across the road, ample free on-street parking, bench seating available out the front, perfect for those with kids, prams, dogs etc.nOVERALL: Highly recommend and will be back.
It's good value, so gave it a 2 star. Service is also OK.nIn terms of the taste, maybe it's not consistent, as I read from other reviewers. But the meats I recieved were all very overcooked and dry and super salty. Was very difficult to eat. The beans were OK, but also quite salty and the cream caramel desert was super sweet.
This place was great when it started and slowly has gone downhill, along with the poor service and food quality has also dropped unfortunately - including the portions, they are even tight on the sauce!nn4th time in a row my chips were cold and burnt. This time I just took a refund as enough is enough as when they wanted to replace my chips they were going to give me the same burnt warmish ones in the metal tray!nnLast time for me after 5 plus years going there
Extreme value for money here, the steak and lamb were cooked to perfection and so well seasoned. The sauce was the highlight so addictive and perfect match to the bbq.
