Great spot to stop for a lovely view over the Tamar River and Tamar Valley. Plenty of parking which also comes with good views from the car without having to walk up the hill. But the short uphill path leads to a panoramic lookout platform, and it’s worth the effort. There are toilet facilities and well maintained and clean undercover bbq facilities available on site.

Brady’s lookout is near where the bushranger Matthew Brady had his hideout. The views of the Tamar River are superb. The best part for me was Rob’s Coffee Haven - a great coffee, a friendly chat, and terrific tourist information.Visited onWeekday

Stand out lookout on the drive between Devonport and Launceston. car park is a short walk from the main lookout about 800m, slight uphill.  Very panoramic views see first image. It wasn’t windy this day, with the sun shining. Perfect introduction to the Tasmanian landscape.

It is a good place to stop and have a look and enjoy the natural beauty of the river tamar and vally. Parking is good & toilets available. It takes five minutes to walk to get to the point of view. Drove past our campervan and found this lookout point. Super scenic. Big carpark to stop for a quick one. Just a 10mins walk, and you are up for the good shot. There is even a toilet available.

Short walk, but of wildlife and a easy view surrounded by wine.
