Haven't been back since lockdown but this place is sublime. Perfect location to picnic, chill with friends and overlook the Harbour bridge in all its beauty. Highly recommend the hikes attached to this place that lead up to Taronga Zoo - the route is pretty safe and there are a lot of beautiful attractions along the way e.g beaches. Highly recommend if looking for a chill, beautiful weekend walk.
One of my favourite views of the CBD and a really gorgeous walk. Takes about 15 minutes from Taronga Zoo ferry dock and it feels like you’re out bush! Some great places to go for a swim too.
Paid site for new year fireworks. All we saw were different kind trees. No view of sydney harbour Bridge. Wouldn't suggest even if its free to view fireworks.
An amazing spot to catch the sunset over the harbour bridge and opera house! Grab a few mates and a picnic and watch the city light up as the sunsets or propose to your special someone with a stunning background. Whatever the occasion Bradleys head won't be a disappointment. You could also combine it with a visit to Toranga Zoo, which is a short walk away. Catch the ferry to the zoo from Circular Quay and watch the sunset from Bradleys Head. Best way to spend the day on the Northern shore!
Good place to sun bath and relax. The beach is very isolated and quiet. There is a scenic view of the city and manly. The water is a little dirty with some plastics and litters. Its only good for sunbathing but not for swimming.
Great place for families. Biking, picnic, fishing, exploring, hiking etc the list goes on. Great view of the Opera house and harbour Bridge. Wait until the sunset and watch nature's spectacular light show. Recommended for all ages. Visit me IG:@th4nhng for more photos of location like this.
A great place for picnic with family, friends or even just by yourself while enjoying Sydney Harbour. Popular for fishing and wedding event too. Also see the mast mounted on the point from HMAS Sydney. Just beware with Kookaburra and Bush Turkey. They can can swoop into human to steal the food from out of nowhere. WARNING! Do not feed them!
A great place to visit and capture views of the harbour and back to Sydney city, Opera House, Fort Denison and the Bridge. A lot of Naval History and memorabilia. A good stop on the Bondi-Manly Walk.
Whenever we have friends from out of town and I want to "Show off Sydney" this is where I take them. Awesome views and lots of photo opportunities. With the city skyline in the background and numerous boats going by it's a pretty good place to have a picnic. Reasonably well maintained public toilets nearby too.
Great walking trail from Chowder Bay to Bradleys Head. Scenic along the foreshore of Sydney Harbour. Stunning views. Easy trail. Baby friendly.
