When we stay in a new town we always visit the local bakery. What a selection this bakery had  even at 1.30 pm  most bakeries are normally sold out of things at this time and everything looked like it was on steroids. The donuts  and other cakes were nearly 2 times the size of normal ones. I highly recommend the pepper chicken pie and custard Berliner. Yummy. The girls were very friendly and very attentive. There are seats inside and out  and plenty of places to park. We will be visiting this bakery again when we are in town.nIf you enjoy my ratings, please follow me.

The pie looked pretty decent, nice layer of cheese on top, covering the egg. The egg yolk was very yellow, definitely free range, yum. The pastry was pretty well cooked, probably needed a touch more, just a touch. Wasn't too dry, has a soft texture to it. The filling was delicious, the mince to gravy ratio wasn't too bad, nice bits of bacon through the pie. The flavour combo worked well and wasn't too salty. The serving temp was spot on and the pie didn't break apart. Wow! What gorgeous cakes! Stopped in for something quick to eat but then saw the cakes. I didn't know what to choose. Settled on the vanilla slice donut. Again, WOW! Sooooo good. Ordered a coffee as well. Superb! Will be back to sample the other cakes soon

Always a treat to visit this bakery. Hubby and I have tried many of their items, my favourites are the veggie pasties and tuna pies, and hubby likes almost any pastry  The cakes are delicious, and the coffee 10/10 and they have a great selection of milks. Hubby says its the best coffee in the area and he's quite picky. I also love their selection of fresh rolls and can recommend their salad roll and tandoori chicken roll. Staff always lovely.

An old favourite from childhood that I still always make a special trip to when I come back to Adelaide. All these years later, they’re still making the best of everything - best pies, best sausage rolls, best chocolate eclairs. Never found any bakery as good anywhere else.
