Interesting experience... We had the meatballs w/garden salad & the chicken skewer combo w/corn & a drink. It does take a while for your food to arrive because it has to be freshly bbq'd every time. The food was hot, fresh & nicely presented. However I couldn't truthfully say that I was wowed by it and further... Being a South African place, I'd hoped that more authentic SA food would be on offer. I know from an SA friend that Malva cake & Peppermint Crisp cake are a thing in SA but they were notably absent from this menu. Would I go back there to try their other offerings? Yes I would, but only as a part of the normal rotation of food experiences... Meaning there wouldn't be any rush.
We bought a whole peri peri chicken last Sunday. Was amazing!! We are getting another one tonight, The service was very good to.
Burgers had more breadcrumbs in the meat patty very noticeable in the texture. It was ok but expensiveFood: 2/5

Best burgers in NZ by far...wow...the taste is divine.
Maybe I was just unlucky. I had the chicken wrap. I found the chicken to be dry and fairly tasteless. There was too much lettuce and onion in my wrap and too little sauce to accompany it all. Chips were fresh which was nice. Didn’t get that “restaurant feel’’. As a South African, I’m aware of how this style of food should taste as I was told that this braaihut was very similar to Nando’s from South Africa. I didn’t see the resemblance. Like I said, maybe I was unlucky as I can see there are many high reviews.
Absolutely amazing place to eat, I always receive outstanding service and food to match. Some of the most authentic food I've ever eaten. Highly recommend for dine in or takeaway.

Always Packaged n Served my favourite 1/4 chicken combo.Rice is my go to if I am really hungry#Take away# IBS sufferer, their mild Sauce is just the correct amount of Flavour. My Hubby enjoys their Chicken burger Combo. Very Clean n Good for a Family or Friends to Sit down n Share around the Table.
