Was invited to the RSL venue for dinner.nWas not sure what to expect but previous experience was not the best.nNot really noted for good food however l was certainly pleasantly surprised.nThe meals and venue were of a high standard and really appreciated the new experience.nGood service and pricing that venues are still coming to terms post Covid, yes even after a couple of years.nDefinitely worth another visit or two for the future.
Good service. Had grilled John Dory, which tasted and looked off, though we can't point out exactly how. Staff was courteous and followed up promptly. We changed to a different fish dish.
Great place for a Sunday dinner. Staff were friendly except the guy at the bar who was stiff and unfriendly. Food was great and reasonably priced. Getting in was also a hassle as we were asked for photo ID. We were not prepared as no one asks for ID to have dinner
So glad we found the Box Hill RSL the meals are really great with a vast selection to suite everyone or just call-in for a coffee and cake. Staff were terrific, Michael and Tara to greet you on the way in and Shriya and all the waite and bar staff all so helpful and friendly. We highly recommend the Box Hill RSL.

Featuring items from the 14th to 19th century, they were symbols of status, providing the original owners with a platform for self-representation and personal expression. Art which transcends function, the motifs used span many different aspects of Japanese martial, spiritual, material and visual culture and reflect the fashions of the various periods in which they were created.
