Worst place to study online. Currently they are dealing with a lot of angry students that got sent fees for their upcoming units in December. Already by then they made you wait almost 2 weeks to reply to your enrolment emails and now we are all getting updated fees according to the 2025 prices. Mine went up $815 that I have to pay with barely any notice because they didn't have time to process my enrolment in December. Such a scam that should be illegal.nnAlso, I've studied half of the units so far and most units repeat content from other units. So the content is not well coordinated either and don't get me started on the insane amount of useless assessments that take ages because most of them don't make any sense, since they changed the content some link won't work anymore or the content was deleted this year but the assessment stayed the same or they make you repeat the same process 3 times to keep you busy because one time is already enough you literally have to make them up as you go hoping you'll pass.nnI regret studying here. You might think it's the cheapest and that's a massive advantage but it's not. Definitely not worth the headaches. Plus you'll end up paying the difference in unexpected fees apparently.
Never studied at a more unprofessional tafe/institution. I completed my course December 2024 and have yet to receive my certificate or have my completed units uploaded to my USI transcript. Admin is terrible at responding to emails/calls.nnDuring the course itself it was terrible. Two of the teachers I had were amazing. They had a white man who had absolutely no idea teach us a unit about Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander peoples. The organisation of the course, placements and support available was horrendous. It felt like our entire course was just rushed through to get us out and make way for the mid term intakes. Not to mention the course coordinator was extremely unpleasant and rude…nnIf there’s anything I can recommend anyone it’s to not go here!!!!!!!nnUpdate: I emailed the email they sent below, no response of course. I rang the school multiple times again over this past week, finally got an answer and had to be extremely firm and a bit rude to them and magically they processed my certificate and are mailing it out now lol. Absolutely ridiculous. This institution is a JOKE!
Staffs are the worst ones here. Been trying to in roll in a course but always receive an email saying you, “ we tried to reach you but were unable to. Reach to us within two weeks or we will withdraw your application “ but in-fact I haven’t got any follow-ups and was waiting for any instructions for further steps, as i was told. Any way i reached to then within 2 hours and it is a second time. And they say like you didn’t reached to us we have withdrawn your application. Then why the hell you guys send that email and told me to wait for further instructions. Just stop wasting others time. Nonsense people.
DO NOT GO HERE! If I could give 0 stars I would. I only wish I had of read the reviews before I signed up.. The quality of the teachers are terrible, learnt more on my own reading the text books. Assignments I finished weeks ago still are not marked. The course coordinator did care when I made a complaint, one sentence answers ignoring my complaint. I made a formal complaint to the customer service team and they gave me a very poor response. They obviously just want $$ and don't care about the quality of the education they are providing.
The current math assessment practices unfairly penalize students for minor grammatical errors, prioritizing English proficiency over mathematical understanding. Students from diverse backgrounds feel discriminated against, with some raising concerns about bias and racism. This undermines equity and the integrity of education. Immediate review and action are needed to ensure fair and unbiased assessments.
