EXTREME WARNING- DO NOT ENROL.nnUPDATE: Why would I contact customer relations when they are dismissive, rude, make threats toward, and blackmail students when they have legitimate concerns?nI cannot express in words how disgustingly mistreated students are by this institution.nnAny prospective students, I cannot warn you enough, DO NOT ATTEND THIS INSTITUTE.n……………………………………………………………………………nnDO NOT CONSIDER THIS INSTITUTE.nnThe way they treat students is beyond appalling, coordinators are rude and dismissive, the complaints process is a joke and you will be blamed, speak up and you will be threatened.nAccessibility is promised but never delivered.nDisorganised is an understatement.nnClasses are designed for you to pass assessments only, not learning course content.nYou will be expected to self learn online in your own time.nnPlacement assistance is non existent.nnThere are many other institutions which would respect students, apply where you are respected.
This is the worst teaching institute of any kind I have ever experienced. They treat students like cash cows and don’t care at all whether you learn anything. In the classes I have attended, there is no real teaching; instead, assessment answers are handed out so you can copy and paste them to pass. In my experience, it’s a complete rip-off and a waste of money. Avoid it like the plague.
Prospective students need to be aware that many of the advertised short courses do not go ahead and are often cancelled at the last minute for what appear to be rather spurious reasons.nnThey collect the money months in advance ... and then, at the last minute and only if they've got enough people to make the course viable try to get their resources lined up ... which means in many cases they can't proceed. Of course they've got your money at that point and make it as hard and as long-winded as possible for you to get your refund. I've had to make several calls and I'm still waiting for mine.nnMany of their customers will be overseas students, so they obviously think they can get away with this behaviour. I think this is shameful.
I was bullied at this tafe apart of my vet program during my high school experience by a girl and her friends, solely because of my appearance. nothing was done to these girls and what i endured, even though box hills policies claim that they take ‘bullying’ matters very seriously. these girls didn’t just target me, but before me another girl as well, with still nothing done to these girls.nnlong story short, the teachers will not do anything to help. the only protection given to me was for me to move classes, with harassment not stopping so i had no other choice but to go online due to my safety, negatively impacting my year 12 results.nndon’t go here, i promise the teachers do not care for you.
In 2019, I enrolled here as an international student to study a hospitality course. This place is a complete scam. There were only me and one other student in the class. When I raised my concerns, I was told it was a good thing because the teacher could give us more attention. That’s not what I paid for — I expected a proper class, not a private session disguised as a group course. Extremely disappointing.
