Lovely place, super busy but were still shown to a table. Didn’t have to wait too long for our food.nMains come with chips and you serve your own veg and salads from the buffet.nVeg included carrot, corn, broccoli and scalloped potatoes. Salad included coleslaw, rice salad, potato salad, pasta salad, as well as lettuce mix and beetroot.nWe had beef schnitzel and grilled barramundi with lemon sauce.
Very good food , good selection, had lunch there. Fish was fresh. Not frozen. Nice surprise. The lunch had a Salad Bar, self serve. To add to your already large serving. Open kitchen, so can see how clean and fresh everything is. Nice frendly staff. Good prices. Parking at rear. The street entrance is a bit unusual as only can enter from one end , but that’s the only slight negative. Overall great location. And easy to find. I’ll definitely be back regularly
I phoned to book for a meal and explained that I was gluten and dairy free. I was reassured this was not a problem. When I arrived however there was nothing on the menu I could eat and the kitchen seemed oblivious as to how to provide meals for particular dietary requirements despite many signs in the restaurant pertaining to food allergies. I then had to be refunded and sit watching everyone at my table eat. Their food looked extremely unappetizing and apparently didn't taste great either. I can only assume there are few good restaurants in Horsham for this hotel to be busy on a Sunday night with such a low quality menu.
I don’t usually leave bad reviews on food but the meal I was served here warrants it. The meal I was served here on 9/7/25 was the worst pub meal I have ever had. I would not feed it to my dog. Steak was very poor quality, the supposed Dianne sauce was orange and tasted like some kind of tomato sauce mix. The vegetables were absolutely disgusting. When I complained the inept staff just said they’d tell the cook. It cost $43. Felt sick immediately after eating. Unless you want food poisoning, DO NOT EAT HERE.
Great food. My only complaint was on the Special board was Lemon cheese cake I did not receive this it was a plain cheese cake with raspberry topping. My husband went to the counter and mentioned that I recieved a plain cheese cake instead of what I ordered, which was the lemon only to be told politely it's what comes out. He said well you need to not have it on your special board as a Lemon cheese cake as I would not have ordered a plain cheese cake at all. This was on the long weekend just gone 2 weeks ago.
