Very friendly owner, with great selection of wines had a very specific type we were looking for! and a delicious cheese plate. Had a really lovely evening here and would strongly recommend. Spirits and other drinks selection was also excellent, with some great value finds like Alain Milliat juices and unusual whiskies.

A perennial favorite and my choice for the best bar à vin in Paris. We never come to Paris without spending several hours here, usually on multiple days. The proprietor, Benoît Dechelette, a noble son of Lyon, presides over the house with great personal charm, superb hospitality, and a legendary knowledge of French wines, especially those of the Côté du Rhône. This is a place to be adventurous with wine so be sure to try some of Benoit’s personal recommendations. I should add that Benoit always offers a range of unusual and very good charcuterie to accompany your glass. Not your typical choices. Places like this can only be found in France. Go as much for the friendship as for the wines.

No exchanges, not listening to his customers. After 4 glasses of really classic syrah wines and a plate of saucisson........... 40euros. Wine is now becoming trendy in France!

Visit : Monday evening / client This is more akin to dining in someones kitchen space with where the owner has taken some choice to add some tasteful decorative items and choice pieces of worn but well picked furniture items - like it is suppose to be a rustic wine store but where you can literally and is served = bottle to table to glass canor glass jar to plate to table You can pick your wine from the good selection a number are bio on the shelves to make life easier and then sit and have snacks from the menu - from what we saw there is no kitchen and it is a simple style of can to plate or pack to plate and then with just some minor side garnishing - as photo we had a chunky wild boar terrine and an obligatory foie gras so food wise you cannot complain ....... presentation wise is good as all the plates and dining items are nicely selected and all fitting the vibe of the place Can easily see this as a fantastic stop off for wine drinkers who want a few lite bites or for a wine and matching foods evening with friends as the tables can easily be arranged for groups of 6 - 10 Location is easy and simple and if you start here for a vino and lite bites you are within striking distance to many choices of Japanese or others Definitely will be returning

Owner is very friendly. This is our second visit in two years from the United States. Cheese, cured meats, and wines are outstanding.

This is why we come to France. Walked by twice finally found it. Nothing short of excellent. Shut off the phone forget the time and luxuriate! Taste, try and enjoy. You will not be disappointed.

Just go. Go in nov late dec after the new wines come out and you won’t be disappointed. Let him choose what you drink.
