Seriously good gelato and coffee. I had the salted pecan and maple which won an award. Not hard to see why with the lovely balanced flavours. Coffee was also brilliant. Worth popping in.
So inconsistent. We go quite frequently and you never know what you’re going to get, always different sized scoops for the same price. $1.50 for chocolate in cone when you hardly get any. Now they don’t have the chocolate tap you literally get nothing using the squeeze bottle. Ridiculous. Lower the prices if it’s going to be so inconsistent. Both photos are of the one scoop of icecream for $6.90 ludicrous how different it can vary.
The Bacon and Salted Pecan and Maple flavours are so delicious! Creamy and flavourful without being too sweet. The gluten free cone is also fantastic. Lovely service in addition. Would happily be a regular if lived in SA
Delicious gelato! I appreciate that they allow you to mix two flavours in a single scoop! Had the pistachio and salted pecan & maple, both were great!!
As a self confessed ice-creamaholic I can honestly say - this is some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had in Australia… The handcrafted ice cream is rich & full of flavour with texture that compliments the ingredients. The bottega itself is so classy & clean & the guy that served us was very welcoming, patient & more than happy for us to sample as it was not very busy at that time we bet the rush Can’t wait to go back for more = buonissimo !! Please come to Melbourne nnEditing my review as I’m back two years later - Bottega is looking better than ever - “how I missed you” the new flavours as usual are all so rich & creamy & bursting with deliciousness, not too sweet & that hint of nuts / chunky ingredients the store itself looks fresh & modern & the colour scheme is so soothing & classy, I absolutely love this store!nnI’m determined to experience every flavour whilst on my stay in Glenelg & what a bonus to be here on Thursday 23rd to experience the “Ice Cream Festival”nnStill my fav Gelato in Adelaide & fav in OZ
