An easy walk for most people, from the whale-watching area to the lighthouse and back. Beautiful sea views all the way. Buy the discounted annual park pass when you renew your rego and save on National Park entry fees $8 here
It was good experience with my friends along. It has a $8 per day pass for entrance to the place. It has got lovely bbq arrangements and plenty of picnic spots. Great place for family and friends. It also has a cricket pitch for players which was amazing. Throughtout the entire place it has multiple lookouts, trails, beach view and so much more spots to cover.
This is a awesome Beach I have ever seen. The view of this place is charming and delightful. I'm just speechless and I just feel the weather and nature. Anyone can easily love with this place. This place realise me that nature is free happiness and you have to love with this. I want to go there next time also and I love this place.
It's a very beautiful park to visit, not too far from Sydney 30-45minute drive. Nice trails to walk, nice picnic area near the visitor center with benches and BBQ areas. Heaps of parking . Whale watching spots at the end of the park during the whale watching season. The entrance fee for a day is $8 per vehicle. Please note that the parking area at the end of the park near the cliffs and whale watching platform is not accessible due to major road repairs. October 2022You will have to walk from the midway point. You can easily spend the whole day here. The walking trails are easy to moderate in most parts.Bring along suitable walking shoes if you're planning to have a hike. If you're just sightseeing, then you're advised to stay near the parking areas and on the paved pathways in the picnic areas .During busy periods like public holidays or weekends during whale watching season, there can be ice cream trucks or coffe vans in the parking areas; otherwise, you're would be advised to bring your own food and water. The visitor center near the entrance has a water bubbler in case you're desperate. This is a very nice park to visit ,definitely worth visiting . Restrooms: Rest rooms are available at the visitor center and nearby parking area near the entrance. Dog-friendliness: Dog are not allowed in national parks; however, there is a dog park nearby . Picnic area: A few picnic areas are available withinthe park, especially at the visitor center.
The Cape Baily track hike is an easy, flat walking trail that follows the shoreline. Amazing views and a bit of a hidden gem as it's not as busy as other walks. Large picnic areas also.
A very important historical landmark for the modern Australian history of first fleet landing. Grave of Sutherland and rich history of the first fleets. Plenty of picnic area with beautiful views. Playground: Very minor play facilities for kids. Restrooms: At the main reception centre. Picnic area: Plenty of picnic area with beautiful views
A hidden gem in the city. Where la parouse is calm and on the other side it’s wild and rocky. It’s a perfect place for day trip and picnic. This lookout is good for someone who wants so do sort or meditation. But careful with the edges and it can be slippery after rain.
Lovely spot for whale watching. Beautiful scenery, picnic tables. This is not the main area for whale watching Solander Point carpark is closed for refurbishment but this detour was lovely.
Great water view, plenty BBQ and picnic facilities, I love the public gas BBQ stove, quick start, powerful cooking, perfect for outdoor gathering.
Decades ago - during my childhood .. I totally enjoyed exploring Kamay Botany Bay National Park .. as the family use to visit Captain Cook Landing Site area .. for the swimming at the beach & picnics
