Had this at Queen Vic Market festival. Never had Jamaican food before so had to try! I thought first jerk here means those dried meat but it’s not! Tried their jerked once which is grilled chicken with rice and slaw salad, and also their chicken burger. Chicken was very tender and cooked well. However the sauce for Jerked Once was too subtle for me. However when tried the burger, it has this nice sweet sauce that was amazing! Definitely go for the burger next time! And tried plantain after the friendly staff recommended, didn’t know what plantain is. Then I figured it’s a fried banana, a type of banana that we also use in Indonesia to be deep fried. Very nice! Although we have it as dessert/snack instead of with main meal.
Tried this food truck out at the night market. I've never had Jamaican cuisine before so I can only judge from a western/Asian pallet. I got the 'original jerk'. It's such good BBQ. The chicken was so juicy and flavourful with a nice amount of char. I couldn't taste any of the coconut in the coconut salad so took a star off for that. Both men serving were very polite. Would definitely order again.
We saw their food truck at a market and my husband brought one of the dish to try. I’m so glad he did because this dish is AMAZING!!! The chicken was so tender, juicy and full of flavour. The chips, slaw and sauce all went so well with the chicken. I’m salivating just thinking about it and I can’t wait to try it again!
Chicken was delicious - not dry and perfectly cooked. Slaw was also delicious. Seasoning was awesome. Sizing was great! Super friendly service.
absolutely delicious burgers! the jamaican jerk chicken so well seasoned and infused in the jaimaican jerk spice rub! the chickens remain all the moisture and juicyness! it might be a tad hard to locate this spot as it doesn't stand out.. you will see a black food truck outside - this is the spot! drive up and come on in and youll be welcomed by all the food on offer!
Hands down the best jerk chicken I've ever had in my life with a caveat that I've never actually been to Jamaica but the smokiness, tenderness and mouthwatering flavour of the chicken is just absorbed so well by that perfectly seasoned rice. MUST TRY!!!

This is by far the best Caribbean food I’ve tasted!! The chicken is tender and has the perfect amount of spice, the rice and beans are fresh and the portion size is very generous for what it cost. To be honest, this is the only Melbourne food truck I am willing to follow on Instagram, just so I don’t miss out when they are in the area… Just thinking back about my meal yesterday, makes my mouth water…great job team, keep up the solid work!
Thumbs-up to this food truck owned by Boss Man Food Company that serves Caribbean food and their Jerk Chicken, as they say, is out of this world and the coconut slaw salad goes really well with rice and chicken.
Had the burger with my partner and it had a really delicious crispy chicken piece with tasty slaw and sauce. Like everyone says, they're good portions. Couldn't give 5 stars because I felt like there could be more spices and coconut flavours, but overall an excellent spot if you're able to get down there. And yes there are 3 small tables you don't see in the photos, the TV was on with channel 9 news pretty loud. They also had a cocktail menu but we didn't get to try it
