I've been coming here for 20 years now. I've found Fabian and the staff to be professional, knowledgable, and passionate about cycling. The maintenance work they do do our bikes is always top notch, and they are also ready to provide useful advice and tips. Any time they have found unexpected nasties that alters the required works, they have been great in calling me to obtain permission before starting the expanded scope of work. Both my children have had all of their bikes purchased and serviced through Borsari, and the team went to great lengths to ensure that the bikes selected were adjusted properly for them. In short: high value and high quality service with a great manner.
The only bike store that I go to. Fabian is very knowledgeable and very passionate about bikes. It almost seems as if it is his passion/ love/ life goal is to see that everyone get the best bike and best equipment for their bike. He is more that happy to help set up anything for your bike, such as new pedals and make any small repairs and adjustments to your bike for you. Have been to two other bike stores since getting my bike from Borasari and the other stores may have been bigger, but the staff and products weren't as good as Borasari's. Would recommend this bike store to anyone.
I've been visiting Fabian and the team at Borsari for almost 10 years now, and not once have I been disappointed in either the service quality, or the price of the stock. The attention to detail at Borsari Cycles is great, and the staff are always attentive to the quality of their work.
They changed a tube for me but just recently I got a flat in the tire and noticed that the tube was somehow folded over on itself, which caused a tear. Not sure if it's from the installation, but it seems like it's probably from that. Owner had called to explain the issue and said that they were happy to give me another tube if they had stuffed up, which is nice enough of them.
Friendly staff but hugely inflated prices for repair and parts. Plenty of better shops around with fair prices. A friend of mice got riped of as well with a repair for 600$ that he did not ask for.
I live in Ringwood but haven't loved the bike services I've got out here - so i took a plunge and took the old girl into Borsari in Carlton and - am happy to say - the mechanic did a brilliant job - she's riding like a bloody dream - in fact I reckon the bike's in as good as nick as she's been in a couple of years and more to the point I'm back in the saddle and pounding up and down the hills of Ringwood !
This shop made my bike shorts wick away more sweat than usual if you know what I mean
good bikes and good price.
