The best sushi place in Mascot. The portions are always fresh and generous in size. The place is tiny and it can be tricky to find a parking near by. The only problem that they do not serve table water, need to buy water or soft drinks from the fridge.
Portions plentiful, I had the karaage chicken bento box and it was loaded with chicken. The only thing I can criticise on was the gyoza were mushy inside and had no texture. Other than that, good quality and quantity of food.
I like the more classic rolls here that tend to have the right flavour balance, well-priced and come in good quantity. But the rolls that come with a lot of sauce can be a bit on the sweet side. I also had one experience where I got some over-fried karaage chicken in a bento box.
Sushi flavour was great but the pieces are uncomfortably big. You need to eat them in 2/3 bites. Wish they would made them easier to eat and smaller with same good quality
This is a no frills, good value, eat & go kinda sushi place. We don’t live in the area but heard of the legendary good value they offer. Pleasantly surprised with the delicious feast we got for the price, will definitely be back for more! Love the juicy & flavoursome Wagyu Beef Steak for only $12 comes with rice & miso soup. The sashimis are also really fresh. The sushi rolls are quite big, so you won’t need to order as much as you normally would elsewhere.
I tried the chicken katsu at boom sushi mascot and it was really good.. good taste & good quality with a reasonable price. The owner & the staffs are very polite.. overall very good service, very recommended and definitely come back
Amazing quality and value. Big portions and fast service. We dined in and received our food within 5 minutes of ordering. The bento box was fantastic and the wagyu steak was on point. I will definitely come back.
Good sushi but guys in the Mascot branch, if you don't close at eight is a little annoying that we try to make our way there and service is denied at 7:35 like today, last Friday we weren't able to take platter orders after 7:20; it's quite simple if you close as 7 don't advertise you close at 8, it shouldn't be too hard, what is annoying is the missleading hours advertised.
I loved the beef, was so moist and flavourful.. Will definitely come back to try more dishes ! Good portions for the price :
Great sushi and very reasonable prices. Definitely recommend this place if you're after a quick fix lunch option. Very efficient service.
