bookgrove is a modern, independently owned and locally operated bookstore on the Bellarine Peninsula in the heart of Ocean Grove, Victoria, which opened in learly March 2009 to a delighted public.

bookgrove's official opening on Easter Monday 2009 featured an instore book signing with David Richardson and Steven Hunt, author and illustrator of The Cloudchasers.

bookgrove's range includes:
Australian and international fiction, latest releases, best sellers, junior fiction, young adult fiction, children's picture books, gardening & landscape design, history & politics, biographies, art & design, craft, travel, sports, health & wellbeing & cookbooks.

bookgrove stocks titles from international and national book awards.

Great little shop with a big heart and great staff, definitely worth a look if you're in the area. Would give 6 stars but I couldn't :
I highly recommend this store, it's been one of my favourite bookstores for a while, for a number of reasons. The staff are always super friendly, sweet and helpful. Though small, they have a great selection, with a good mix of popular new releases, and smaller authors. Prices are pretty good as well! Please go support them, they are a small business, but you will get a great experience :

This little book store really punches above its weight. Great range of books for all ages, super helpful staff with a gift for recommendations. Try out the gift helper. Makes choosing a gift that much easier. Bookgrove also pays due respect to COVID safety
After a poor experience with another well known book company giving little time to rectify their poor service,the Bookgrove promptly ordered the book I wanted. Although they couldn’t promise that it would arrive on time, their quick response and wonderful customer service ensured it did arrive on time, and saved the day!

Limit of customers to 6 at a time; and then they took my children out of the store without my permission whilst I was completing my purchases which I then ended up not buying. I'll never shop here again. Appalling treatment and service.
