Food was nice and great price. Staff were very welcoming and the place had a nice atmosphere. Strongly recommend for a nice pub experience that’s a bit more up scale.
A good place to hang out with friends, plus nice food, just needed to wait for long time, like up to 40 mins/1 hour long
We have been once before and were so happy with the food and the experience that we decided to visit tonight for our 5 year anniversary. This time we can only describe our experience as utterly disappointing. Staff lacked any shred of enthusiasm, my chicken burger was dry, tasted like it was fried in old oil and contained a short dog hair. The chips were not even comparable to Maccas fries. Being a hot day we placed ourselves inside near the air conditioning, however it never had a chance given that the doors were open letting in all the heat. We have never been so dissatisfied with a restaurant and will have to have a do over of our anniversary because the whole dinner was a write-off. We really hope the atmosphere goes back to the way it used to be, with quality food and staff who enjoy looking after you.
We had lunch at Boodle Beasley today and really can't say enough about how great it was! The lovely staff were friendly and accommodating, good food, good wine, warm and cosy on a rainy Hobart day. Perfection!
the food itself was very tasty, however the customer service was basically non existent. there were two men behind the bar and that was it. no one to greet us and seat us as we walked in, no menu’s were provided and little cleanliness. the table we sat on was sticky from previous food and drink. i figured i’d ask a staff member to clean the bench and the man passed me the cloth rather than wiping it himself. probably wouldn’t go back as i think customer service is pretty important for a restaurant/bar.
Average food, bad service. Overpriced for a small burger and half our of orders came old cold. Ordering from the table through the QR code is a different menu than you can order at the bar. We had a booking, they didn’t put out enough chairs for the number of people we booked for. Didn’t acknowledge us when we walked in so we found our own table.
It is a very nice place. We sat inside at the table by the back door. It was a bit loud as it was packed! Nice nibbles and drinks.
The outdoor area is very picturesque, there seemed to be a long wait on anything ordered, even though it wasn't that busy and as you can see the toilets were terrible, 10pm on a Friday night.
I absolutely love this place. My friends took me there when I was visiting Tasmania. Blond lady I believe manager was delightful. I highly recommend this venue for a drink or lunch. The only negative is that fish burger patty, I believe it was frozen, didn’t taste so nice. The rest was brilliant.
Amazing bar / restaurant! Awesome atmosphere and very cool location! Nice selection of food and drinks with a nice price tag! Will definitely be returning here soon!
