We went a 3-night camping here with 2 kids. The location is really hard to beat as you have the beauty of having a lovely beach and the convenience of being in a town. Very pleasant experience as both us and the kids had plenty fun. The amenities could be cleaned more regularly as the toilets were mostly dirty. This campsite gets booked out quite fast so you should book well in advance.

Good location. Basic amenities. Sites are spacious. National Park fee applies. A bit pricey for what it offers. But we just want to be in the nature and did not expect high quality facilities, so we were happy with this place.

Great location. Facilities are in need of an update and a good clean. One of the least well kept NSW campgrounds we've been to. Lot to do in the area.

Bonnie Vale A good and convenient campground in Royal National Park. It’s great for a family with babies, or someone who hasnt had much camping experience as basic need like bathrooms and toilets are available. Make a booking ealier prior to the day you camp, so you may possibly choose a spot with a good view to the beach or a spot at a corner if you prefer more privacy. Fire is prohibited in the area. BBQ cabinets are available there so you just need to bring whatever you like eating and tongs. Dont forget to have a insect repellent spray, drinking water and a flashlight with you. The beach is fresh and clean, you can lay your body under the sun or just take the dip in the water. There is a small path close to the toilet, walk through it and you will see something beautiful. 😌 If you want to go fishing, bring a fishing rod with you, just for relaxing :) Going further of the path, it’s end of the campground and where the local people live around. That’s almost everything you can do in Bonnie Vale for a resting trip. Besides, there is something fun to do in Royal National Park as well: row boating, canoes, etc.

Not well cleaned and maintained. Nice location, hot water. Throngs of noisy school kids.
