Located at 310-312 Prince Charles Parade, Kurnell, New South Wales, Australia .nA wonderful find after a great day spent at Kurnell. There’s a wonderful children’s playground complete with a great selection of children’s play equipment and also a great flying fox for adults to enjoy also. There’s many bench seats for people to rest and a grassy area if people want to bring a picnic lunch but there’s also picnic shelters. Dogs are prohibited within 10 metres of the children’s playground and/or play equipment, even if they are on a leash. There’s very good toilet facilities complete with disabled toilets along with changing facilities and there’s plenty of parking also with disabled parking. This reserve is just across from Silver Beach in Kurnell and up from the Bonna Point boat ramp. This is a very family friendly spot and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Thumbs up from me.
Super good place to run out little one’s energy. In good preparing is a nice place for family picnic, group games, playground, beach, and short to long walk along the national park. And toilets, water, and BBQ nearby. Love it .
Amazing playground! The main climbing frame is probably best suited to kids aged 5+ but there are also some things for younger kids to play on e.g. swings, slides etc. along with lots of green space and a double flying fox. There’s even a mini skate park area there which is cool!
Park, beach and bushwalks in one.nnYou can see the climbing frames long before you get to this park! My 10 year old loved it and so did my 4 year old.nnI have to say, the ladder access to one slide was a bit concerning as it was so high. A lot of parents must have felt the same as they were climbing the ladder behind their younger kids. And if your kids don't like climbing or heights they may find it frustrating as they won't be able to access the slides.nnThe park also hadn* 2 decent flying foxesn* 4 swings, all facing in to each othern* Cubby house for younger kidsn* Musical pipes the kids can bangn* heaps of open space to kick a ball aroundn* Large toilet blocknnThe best part was the mini skate park. My son and daughter both enjoyed riding their bikes through it.nnBe prepared and come with your own shade and picnic blanket as there are only a few covered tables and they fill up fast. You can find trees to sit under but they aren't very close to the playground itself.nnAcross the road you'll find the beach with no waves and lots of sand and shells for the kids. You can walk along the path adjacent to the beach and take it all the way into the National Park. Along the way you'll come across information about the first fleet arrival at Botany Bay.nnIf you're still up for exploring there is a short easy walk called the Yarra Trail, close to the national Park entrance.nnAll in all, it was a wonderful day, broken up with lots of different activities.
Beautiful place to come and relax.nGreat place to see planes ever so close by.nPlenty of mosquitoes out for a bite .nQuiet area when planes aren't flying over.nPlenty of parking and seating areas.nExcellent views of the city Skyrise when the sky is clear.nGreat view of Port Botany.nBring your binoculars.
