Cakes and pastries are their specialty. Enjoyed a casual lunch with my son. Fresh rolls and fillings, lovely pies, pasties and sausage rolls. Fresh coffee. Delicious!

When I saw there had a been a change of hands at Bonjour de France, I immediately became concerned that the vanilla slice cake I was about to purchase, had perhaps changed. I don't shop there often but occasionally purchase the vanilla slice cake for events. I asked the new staff member if there had been any changes, and was told it was the same ($26). It had changed, having gone from around five or six layers of vanilla to just two or three. I was very disapponted, and annoyed that I was given wrong information.

Service was good hence the 2 stars, chocolate croissant (Pain au chocolat) and croissant were bad. Not light and fluffy, very doughy (bread). Good thing kids are under 3 and don't know the difference. Bakers Delight is better. I won't be back sorry.

Nice little French cake shop near Blackburn station which also serves coffee. Good staff.
