My most favourite cafe in Toowoomba. I spent so many hours in this cafe and have so many memories. Wayne taught me how to make mushroom and white wine Risotto and the vibe and atmosphere was always welcoming and warm. It is centrally located and all the locals come here to meet. I lived in Toowoomba for 30 years off and on, and even though I have moved to Sydney, Melbourne and now Hobart Bon Amici's holds so many fond memories for me. Great service.
Terrible! When we ordered avocado on turkish toast with GF bread and paid an EXTRA $2 for it, we were given one piece of bread! And barely any avocado. For $11.25 total. One tiny piece of GF bread and when we questioned it we were told that was what happens because GF bread is expensive, EVEN THOUGH WE PAID THE EXTRA CHARGE. Nothing was done, we were only begrudgingly offered a second piece of bread when we asked a second time and no extra avocado, for $11.25! Could have bought a loaf of bread and two avos for that! And the server was incredibly rude, making faces and rolling her eyes. Never coming back here.
My mum and I had lunch here today. The cakes were clearly home-made, the scones were fresh and delicious, and my cauliflower, potato and ham soup was absolutely delicious and came with bread with a generous amount of butter, just how it should be! The staff were what made it though; they were so friendly and polite. It was some of the best service I've ever had!
Daily specials are available. The mushroom on spinach is fabulous, great for families or on your own.
Ordered coffee. Good. Ordered their signature dish of magic mushrooms for my daughter who also wanted the children’s portion of pancakes and was rudely informed by Vicky who was not the one who took the original order but decided to butt in from the kitchen that it was only for under 12s. When I tried to explain that she won’t be able to eat a main mushroom dish and a main pancake dish, she didn’t obviously understand. The young man who initially served us was pleasant and so I decided to continue the order. Actually did feel like cancelling the entire order. Will not recommend this place to anyone!
This place is run by a beautiful family, and is a really lovely place to just chill out in Toowoomba! The food is homemade and tastes amazing, and the drink is really well done, the WiFi is the best in town as well! Also, If you're free on Friday evening, make sure you check out Campfire Sessions which is hosted at Bon Amici! It's a free live music event with some very highly talented local musicians playing, and the artist line-up changes each week! Highly recommended!!

We've been going to Bon Amicis for years the service is always amazing. The food and coffee is great, fast and always fresh. When we go there we know we're going to get great food, beverages and service which is really hard to come by these days.
The lovely young barista in the mornings makes great coffee and gives amazing service. Remembered our order on our 2nd visit and managed to make my salty 3yr old smile.
The crew simply make a casual and relaxed meal with friends work well. Not to mention that everytime I go there something interesting happens, a chat with the owner, a jazz band, a poet, a shared joke with the next table, there is always something interesting going on in the background.
